I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

Will tag everyone I can remember below, apologies if I miss anyone!

Looking forward to seeing all the outfits on this new thread! Hopefully having started it might prompt me to post more, too!

Tonight is the sequin night!

This was £2 and it's some designer.

Shoes - older than DD topshop shop probably.

Love the dress @Shannith. Have a fab evening.

Today was my final day in the actual office (site is closed tomorrow, so I’m WFH). My outfit didn’t photograph very well.

Top & Culottes: both Phase Eight
Boots: Matalan

You look stunning @Shannith!

Love the jeans and blazer look @Puddinandpie - trousers suit you.

Thank you @countrypunk ☺️ The end of term and start of the holidays has been so busy that I just didn't get round to taking photos.

Here's a few festive-ish outfits that I don't think I got round to posting.

Mr Eno and I also went to our friends' wedding at the weekend and I wore this If By Sea dress (via Anthropologie) but didn't get a proper picture.

It's a sheer black fabric with gold moons and stars. I love it.

Completely neglected to take a pic of the sequin shift dress I wore the other night as well. I wore it with sock boots as a strong 60s vibe had taken hold of me after watching the doc 'Three Swings on a Pendulum' on the iplayer. A firm recommendation for the nostalgics out there!

Love all the sequins @Shannith and @EnoBaby

Well I ordered some jumpers from hush and spotted a skirt in new look all of which are going back.

Although I'm tempted to try cutting a split in the skirt it was only £11. And going to try the cardigan with some different outfits tomorrow.

My Dsis helped me make the final decision, I'm really struggling to find jumpers

Sooverthemill · 22/12/2022 20:03

@Sickoffamilydrama what kind of jumpers you want/like?

Sickoffamilydrama · 22/12/2022 20:09

I think I need more fitted @Sooverthemill maybe with a deeper V, I've tried wrap but can never get them to sit right. In pink, green or red maybe I do need to try something like sezane.

Sickoffamilydrama · 22/12/2022 20:18

This is probably the shape I need not sure I want to pay that per jumper as could do with a couple but maybe I go for quality over quantity!

@Sickoffamilydrama eould the cardigan not look nice with some of your jeans? That colour suits you.

@Shannith - fabulous as always.

@Purplecatshopaholic I’ve been wearing my leggings quite a bit lately. ‘Leather’ ones from mint velvet and thicker Ponte ones from Next.

I have been reading everyday. But haven’t really posted much!

I am looking forward to Christmas as I know I have some trainers and a Cashmere jumper!

EllaPaella · 22/12/2022 22:20

Lovely star dress @EnoBaby and you rock the sequins @Shannith

EllaPaella · 22/12/2022 22:21

I finished work for Christmas today and sadly tested positive for covid this evening.. 3rd time this year 😫 Merry bloody Christmas 🤣

EllaPaella · 22/12/2022 22:22

You all look lovely, great outfits

OublietteBravo · 22/12/2022 22:23

Oh no! What rotten timing @EllaPaella. Get well soon!

countrypunk · 22/12/2022 23:54

@EnoBaby Love your wedding outfit, absolutely gorgeous.

bendmeoverbackwards · 22/12/2022 23:56

Final day of work, and then I’m taking 2 weeks off. I still have quite a lot to do. Hopefully it will all get done.

Jumper: White Stuff
Culottes: M&S
Boots: Celtic & Co

Gosh I look crumpled!
achieved nothing yesterday as I got sidetracked by an urgent need to change a hamsters house which took hours of prep. Oh well.
@Puddinandpie sadly DD is hypersensitive to sound so I can never have anything on loud! Even carols which is what I’d love. I hum instead 😂
shirt: grace and mila last year
jeans: hush
shoes: Birkenstock
tee under: hush ancient

Softpebbles · 23/12/2022 11:31

@EllaPaella oh no. I hope that you aren’t feeling too poorly with it.

I fell over last night and ended up at an and e with a suspected broken ankle. Thankfully it’s a really bad sprain although she said it could take 2/3 months to repair. Never have I felt so sick with the pain 😭 I can’t weight bare for 48 hours.

Roll on 2023

x

Puddinandpie · 23/12/2022 11:46

Omg it's all going on, on this thread🙈 I'm so sorry to hear you are poorly @EllaPaella hopefully not too much so!
@Softpebbles a sprained ankle is agony, I had one years ago when I was 15 from jumping on a mini trampoline with slippers on, it swelled enormous like a tennis ball and was agonising to walk on, my mum slapped me for taking to long to walk when she dragged me shopping the next day (evil cow), you defo need lots of rest and everyone running round after you, make the most of it "queen for a couple days"😉

Puddinandpie · 23/12/2022 11:48

@bendmeoverbackwards love that coat
@Shannith gorgeous sequins

toucaninjapan · 23/12/2022 12:01

@EnoBaby your By Sea dress is GORGEOUS 😍
And your first festive outfit - wow!

@OublietteBravo I'm feeling a bit jealous of the 2 weeks off. I've taken the next week off, but my colleagues are still asking me to attend some meeting with a client. 😩
I like your White Stuff jumper btw!

@EllaPaella oh no, get better soon!

@Shannith you look fantastic in that sparkly dress!

Very stylish outfit @Puddinandpie , also it's a shame about your mother. I know how it's like as I ended up running away to a country far away from home as soon as I had the chance! Built my life from scratch here with nobody's support, just to be safe and free.

Puddinandpie · 23/12/2022 12:02

@EnoBaby you look fab I love that tulle skirt and jumper it's gorgeous, thank you for trouser compliment, I always get a bit paranoid wearing trousers as I'm never sure what suits me as I have thick thighs and a rather large arse😁
@Sickoffamilydrama nothing wrong with that skirt it's nice, I like the pink jumper and I'd undo some buttons on the cardigan and the blue jumper would probs look better tucked in a little and add a belt🙂
@Greyhairwarmheart I love that necklace 😍
@Sooverthemill haha that's what I do when my wireless headphones run out of battery, only problem is it drives everyone in my house mad, because I sound like a strangled cat, especially when I burst into full tay tay mode, dance an all, I don't care it makes cleaning fun (if that's possible)!!!
@OublietteBravo I bet your counting the hours😁

toucaninjapan · 23/12/2022 12:03

Red dress (Boden sale) for an offline client meeting & going to the ballroom afterwards.

Today’s been a funny day, first, I’ve discovered my colleagues were so much impressed with my little ghost (?) story that happened to me on the 2nd night in the hotel I stayed last time in Seoul, that they refused to book the same hotel and are now staying in some other hotel instead. 😁
And secondly, while heading to DD’s nursery I found some baby’s shoe on the ground, which I took to the lost and found. Later when DD and I got out of the train on our station, I noticed she didn’t have one of her two plushies which we definitely had with us when we boarded the train. I had to run back to the platform with my toddler jumping in her sling and her as heavy as 7 deadly sins nursery bag, but we made it on time before the train departed and the plushie was found. Right after we got out of the station, I’ve found another baby shoe (different from the one before). I’ve taken it to the lost and found where DD threw a tantrum about giving away such a pretty shoe, in the middle of which I’ve discovered her second plushie was missing. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Once again I had a bit of a run around, but the plushie was found and retrieved, and on our way home from the station I was praying not to find any more shoes and go through the same thing again. 😂
