I know I'm not as much of a regular as I used to be (and would like to be if life didn't get in the way!) but thought I'd start the new thread as I know @EllaPaella often ends up needing to do it so thought she might want a break, and I had a spare 5 mins and would hate to lose you all!

I literally got dressed in the dark so may not stay like this. This wasn’t the top I thought it was!
yesterday didn’t go as planned, DD super unwell ( and she slept in my bed hence dressing in the dark) and DH also unwell he had a tummy bug but was already isolating after coming back from
london and I didn’t realise until about 10 am when I worked out the poor dogs hadn’t been walked!
top: honestly not sure might be white stuff or gap very old needs culling

jeans: agolde end October already 9 wears
shoes: Birkenstock similar age and wears!

Meant to ask did anyone else fall victim to Black Friday? I got 50% off a pair of Penelope Chilvers boots I actually saw in real life when I got my hair cut and nearly fainted at the price plus a beck sondergarde scarf from
anthropologie I’d liked for a while. Both won’t stay unless they are 100% right

@Sickoffamilydrama nice dresses and I actually like the belt one the best. That may be because I wear leopard print belts with everything.

@EnoBaby I love your cosy but stylish outfit. Especially the scarf. I basically love leopard print just chucked into everyday wear.

@Sooverthemill that hand knitted cardigan is incredible and goes perfectly with your hair.

@Sickoffamilydrama - ha! I definitely identify with the accidentally wearing lunch thing. I consider my outfit before selecting my lunch option in the canteen at work more often than you’d think. Wearing a light-coloured top? No tomato-based sauces!

@Sooverthemill - the only thing I bought on Black Friday was a toothbrush for DS. I’m doing a good job of not buying anything - mainly because we have major house renovations starting in February. Which will use up all my money and make storage of superfluous clothing tricky. I’m eBaying a lot at the moment!

Not a very exciting outfit today. All M&S, except the boots which are Matalan.

Very envious of the charity shop finds - a Wyse London jumper, lucky! Very rarely find anything decent in my local charity shops, even more so since Vinted took off.

I'm in velour pyjamas with sparkly pineapples on them 🙄 whilst I do some extra work.

Mr Eno and I swore we were going to do a toy sort-through today in preparation for Christmas but we've both found "preferable" things to do - I'm working and he's on mouse and squirrel duty in the garage, shed and laundry. It's just farm land at the back of our property so we have to do regular rodent checks.

I didn't think I'd make any Black Friday purchases but thus morning bought a tiny cartilage hoop and also this dress for a wedding next month.

Our charity shops are rubbish too!

no outfit here but I’ve ordered ANOTHER pair of boots to try. I just want a pair of boots that I feel a bit more dressed up in than my sturdy docs or Ariats. But still casual! Bought a black and white shirt from a boutique to wear with pleather leggings and heels and a pleather skirt. Also took delivery of a lovely pleated skirt from Sainsbury’s! Haven’t tried on yet.

I feel like I’ve lost the ability to dress myself and look reasonable. Feel so dowdy! But then lack confidence to wear nicer more trendy things!

@Softpebbles I think you might be stuck in a mental rut, hopefully the Xmas festivities will sort it, with all that dressing up, everything you bought sounds fab and you always look fab anyway, I think you just got to find your mental mojo again😉

Everyone looks just absolutely fabulous darlings!

I have been bitten by the black friday bug and have done a shit load of shopping, albeit Xmas gifts!
But I did get some unbelievably good bargains from asos and boohoo
The dresses from asos were half the prices showing and the 2 jumpers and sleeveless cardi was £3 each there right back up in price now, its bloody mental😁

And dresses also I got 3 in total, I wanted 5 but couldn't justify ordering 5 🙈
The slip dresses will look perfect with the new jumpers so it's all a win win!

Me and dh took kiddies Xmas shopping today to get last lot of bits and bobs so that was fun, but also super cold and windy

Not bad for getting dressed in the dark @Sooverthemill haven't bought anything yet problem is I'm trying to be frugal and save a bit more but I do actually need some more winter wear.

I thought I was the only one @OublietteBravo I'm definitely a messy eater.

I culled a lot of my winter wardrobe last year and now I'm realising how little I do have especially wool jumpers I have none.

I'm waiting to border my plane to go to the 3rd business trip this month & have just bought myself a couple of Christmas presents in the duty free (a serum and a lipstick).
This time I'm flying to a new airport, hopefully everything will go as planned, though it looks like tomorrow's weather is gonna be terrible. Also I'm not loving that according to the forecast, Seoul is having +16 one day and -8 the other! 😩

Gutted we couldn’t go out yesterday evening for dinner. It was the first evening of he Christmas lights and it’s so lovely usually. But DH want well enough though he is apparently okay to go out for the day with DD then to go out for dinner with friends and then a conference tomorrow and then go to see his mum in her care home overnight Monday. Don’t begrudge the last at all obviously just the jollies beforehand! Oh well such is life
