My items from asos arrived and the plum colour dress looks gorgeous, but unfortunately the others just don't feel right (lacking in confidence to wear them although dh said they l👀k really nice but not sure) I feel in a funny mood today so not got great judgement at the minute🙈

@Sooverthemill maybe your dh is out with your dd getting you surprise Xmas pressies😉

A quiet day of cleaning, food shopping and dog walking but we have managed a visit to the pub after the dog walk.

Been out with the youngest and eldest today to crocodiles of the word was actually quite interesting especially seeing the size of the Nile crocodiles.

Looks like the hotel I'm staying this time is primarily used by airline crews. Everybody was wearing their uniform to the breakfast today and I have spotted only one other guest besides me who looked like they are neither a pilot nor a flight attendant.
Also you're not allowed on the hotel shuttle bus unless you're crew. 🙄
I'm going to be working outside for a couple of hours today, which is a shame as it's windy and rainy, so I'm dressed for warmth.

Popping in again, hoping to stick around this time, but I say that every time. 🙈

We have finally moved! Totally in love with the new house, although it needs quite a bit more work than we thought when we looked around. It's mostly cosmetic, though, and the area is absolutely lovely and a really friendly village community, which has been an amazing change from our previous, faceless, new build estate. Finally finished the majority of the unpacking today - we all went down with Covid less than 24hrs after we moved in, so things have been a bit hectic, but all better now!

It was my DM's birthday this week so we've been out celebrating a few times. Excuse the mess behind me in the first 2 pics, we hadn't finished unpacking the bedroom until today!

Swapped the skirt for leggings and took the dogs out for a lovely walk this afternoon. We're much more rural than we were and the dogs and I are loving getting out and about exploring. Hope you've all had lovely weekends!

A grey, dismal day with a heavy sea mist on the coast. Wearing my colourful Eribe jumper to inject a bit of colour into the day.
The Allsaints dress arrived and is going back. The satin clings to every lump and bump and the quality does not justify the price at all. Very disappointing- I was really looking forward to wearing it!

How disappointing @EllaPaella. I’m just assuming I’ll find something in my wardrobe to make it through the festive socialising this year - I haven’t really seen anything in the shops that makes me want to part with my money. Too many high necks and ruffles!

Haha @Puddinandpie no it was DS actually (typo) and neither of them buy presents they always get other people to do it. Been together 25 plus years and I think I’ve had 4 presents from DH that he has bought himself ( once he gave me a poinsettia for Christmas, just that. ) they are both very generous but adhd make it impossible to navigate present buying! They went to an RSPB centre and got wet. DD is amazing at presents though all online from her bed and DD1 isn’t bad with a bit of guidance!

@EllaPaella I ordered yesterday 3 slip dresses and am hoping they look okay, I think the trick is to order 1/2sizes bigger, so it just hangs rather than clings (well thats what im hoping anyway 😉) but to be quite honest you literally don't have any "lumps or bumps" you've got a fab figure and that mirror🤩

Slip dresses and me have never got on they don't work with my shape they didn't when I was a slimmer 16 year old so definitely won't now although I keep getting tempted!

it’s really cold and wintery here and pretty miserable. Old dog is struggling and I wi see what the vet will say this week for his regular appointment. Poor old chap. Had a nice day with DD yesterday looking through Christmas magazines and attempting to get into festive mood!
