It's a bit beaten up but am the better for it. Probably about £500+ new!

@Sooverthemill oh gosh that's awful, I'm just glad we didn't wait til pandemic hit and we sold our salons well before then, especially with the cost of living crisis now also and people cutting back (excuse pun), its really not a good time for any business let alone hair and beauty industry, it's a sad state of affairs!

Going into the office again today to take part in some lovely discussion organized for everyone by one of our directors. We are supposed to be presenting about how we keep our concentration while WFH and what "still has to be done".
This "still has to be done" bit was obviously meant to be about what employees have to do to accomplish even more while WFH (cause they are probably all procrastinating when their managers are not watching them🙄), but I, as well as some other petty colleague, are planning to speak about what company has to provide us. Like pay for the increased electricity bills maybe? I've got quite a list.

Cashmere knit - Uniqlo (I like Uniqlo's cashmere, it's not too thin and looks good, but you get what you pay for, so you could clearly see difference in quality with Boden cashmere for example. Uniqlo's cashmere is more fluffy and more prone to bobbling, which you can probably notice on the 2nd photo where I'm trying to show my jewellery - and it's the first time I'm wearing it)

DM has launched a new collection with Hokusai's iconic Japanese prints!
I'm not much of a fan of any chunky shoes (I strongly associate them with Harajuku culture), but these are actually beautiful.

For a minute there I thought you were telling us your Mum had launched a new shoe collection and I was thinking you must have the coolest mum ever 😁 @toucaninjapan. You look chic as ever.

Not keen on the tartan if I'm totally honest @Sickoffamilydrama but the orange dress is amazing and perfect on you!

I've ordered https://www.allsaints.com/tierny-roll-neck-2-in-1-dress/5059786240594.html this dress for the festive season, hopefully will be perfect for all of my Christmas events. Would love the boots as well but sadly can't afford both. The only other purchase I've made recently is two wool hats from Vinted. A brown Italian trilby and a black fedora.

@EllaPaella you have just solved my xmas party outfit conundrum for me without me having to spend a penny! I have a slip dress. I have a sparkly top. They go together beautifully! I would never have thought of it without clicking on your link! I am decidedly too old for a slip dress word tout seule, but All Saints have just shown me how to style it! I am obviously a styling dimwit and need to be shown!

Great festive outfit @EllaPaella it'll look fabulous on you. I love those AllSaints 2-in-1s, actually very good value for money, I've been meaning to get one for a while but trying v hard to not buy any new clothes in the run up to Christmas. @faffadoodledo you absolutely can't go wrong with a chunky knit and a satin dress/skirt - can be dressed up or down depending on footwear/jewellery etc for practically any occasion IMHO.
