I got a lovely forest green velvet dress with gold star embroidery from Vinted a few weeks ago. It's a little too low cut for a family Christmas Day so I'm hoping it looks nice with a long sleeved black top or body underneath. Probably cosy socks or slippers to really finish off the look 😂 I think I'll wear it for a Christmas night out with my friends without the top underneath to make it a different type of outfit.

Either my velvet t-shirt dress from next a couple of years ago or my Tommy Hilfiger 50s style dress

I'll be opening pressies in some silk, paisley PJs from Etsy. Then we're driving up to stay with family at the coast - and I'll be wearing a dark bronze, glittery slouch dress from Hush + black opaques from Wolford + black velvet ankle boots from Hush + vintage leopard print coat from Whistles (we go glam or we go home, in my family). Waitrose are helpfully providing all the Christmas lunch, so no one has to worry about getting sweaty in the kitchen or spilling food.

Boxing Day will be a long walk along the beach followed by pub lunch - so I'll be in oversized taupe cashmere jumper, black faux leather leggings from Commando, black chunky Chelsea boots from H&M and huge, olive green duvet coat from Sailors & Brides.

Love the sound of all of this!
