Towelling dressing gown

I'm hoping someone here may be able to help. Many years ago I had a really thick, white, long, hooded towelling dressing gown from Debenhams.

Unfortunately my home burned down and the dressing gown with it.

In honesty, I'd forgotten about it until now, but now I've remembered it, I desperately want another!!

I've done the usual Google search but can't find one that's towelling (rather than fleecy), long and with a hood.

Please Mumsnet, can you help?

The last one was probably bought 20 years ago from Debenhams and cost about £50 then, so I imagine it'll be somewhere around the £100 mark, although could be persuaded to spend more if it ticks all the boxes!

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I actually got my son one from Amazon which seems ok. The White company have some www.thewhitecompany.com/uk/Unisex-Hydrocotton-Hooded-Robe/p/LHCHR?swatch=White

OP I've just bought a ribbed hooded towelling dressing gown from M&S and I love it. Meets your spec, really warm and cosy, good quality, only comes in white, costs £50.

Thanks so much all. I think
I'll be sending my DP to M&S to get me one of those ones. Ace! I knew you'd be able to help! I hope you all have a great day. 😁

@Worriedaboutethics that looks gorgeous, but unfortunately I'm only 5'4" so I think it would be far too long. 😫

I have one from The White Company. I think it's the hydrocotton robe. It's lovely.

I've got one from jysk. Mine isn't hooded, but they had other styles. Nice and soft, and thick towelling

Hi @pjmasksitsthepjmasks Thanks for posting. If you're still looking for a new dressing gown, take a look at our article on the best dressing gowns for women. It's full of snuggly robes which were picked thanks to recommendations from Mumsnet users and consumer reviews. I hope you find it useful.

White Company hydrocotton with the hood are the best in my view

I have one from the White Company. Had it for years and it's great. I don't use any other towel.
