I love vinted.

What are your best vinted buys and the best vinted searches.

I've just bought a lovely next dress for a £5.

Would like to branch out to more high street premium brands like hush &othwr stories cos and so on but not sure how much to pay for things.

I'm used to paying under a fiver for Items. So Which brands do you buy and how much do you pay for things.

I'm really into French Connection jumpers on Vinted at the mo. Have bought three in the last week. Paid between £8 and £12 for them and they are lovely.. new or very lightly used

VanillaImpulse · 18/10/2022 21:17

I got some lovely suits for work. I think with so many people now working from home they don't need them anymore which is great for me! £15 for a Next trouser suit which looks new

CampervanKween · 18/10/2022 21:57

I'm obsessed at the moment. I list stuff then when I've got a nice balance in there,I spend the evenings trawling through. Usually looking for makes I've seen on here and not heard of before to try out.

EdinaMonsoon · 18/10/2022 22:11

@CampervanKween How much are the fees etc to sell? I used to eBay things but the last few made so little after fees that it really wasn’t worth it.

mrsjimhopper · 18/10/2022 22:22

The buyer pays the fees and buy the postage labels (except royal
Mail but it's want evri). It's better than eBay imho much less hassle.

I haven’t had the courage to go on it.but really want to!!

VisitingThem · 18/10/2022 22:31

I got some fab GAP jeans for £2.50 that fit amazing. I've also picked up some lovely m&s merino wool jumpers.

ErmNoThankYou · 18/10/2022 22:34

I got both my children's winter coats on there this year for no more than £12 each, both lightly used and had retail prices of £60- 70 each new.
I love it on there, am currently looking for a Christmas jumper for my youngest for Xmas jumper day, he never wears them again so don't want to buy new. They are so cheap on there.

AnonWeeMouse · 18/10/2022 22:36

I got a pair of JustFab Heels, they're beautiful and completely impractical, but for £8, they can sit on a shelf and be admired.

It's a dangerous site tbh. 🤣

mrsjimhopper · 18/10/2022 22:47

@kateandme what's stopping you?

@VisitingThem merino is a good idea.

I did buy a cashmere cardi that I thought was a bargain but had obviously been shrunk in the wash as it was very tight squeeze! You win some and lose some...

stillvicarinatutu · 18/10/2022 23:08

I've just sold a load of cruise dresses and a cashmere jumper which is fortunate as I've just bought

Dune heeled boots
Russel and Bromley boots
2 next dresses
A leather bag
Uggs
Office shoes
Office boots
4 m&s jumpers
Levi's
Jasper conran jeans

All bargains!

Imissmoominmama · 18/10/2022 23:08

I’ve just had a wardrobe clear out. I have some Masai, Boden, Next, and other stuff. Is it worth listing them then? I was going to give most of it to friends, but tbh, I could do with the money.

stillvicarinatutu · 18/10/2022 23:09

Definitely worth listing!

I've just sold a heap of boden and monsoon stuff !

stillvicarinatutu · 18/10/2022 23:10

Just be realistic with prices

I just sold a £300 cashmere jumper for £29

Monsoon evening dresses for £15

stillvicarinatutu · 18/10/2022 23:11

But by same token I bough Russel and Bromley boots for £6 and dune boots for 5

Next tailored dress for 5

Other casual dresses for 3

Jumpers for a few quid each

RaininSummer · 18/10/2022 23:11

I have gained two pairs of boots recently which were both brand new. Fit flop knee high leather boots for 36 pounds and moshulu knee high leather ones with lace up backs for 28 pounds. Very pleased I can indulge my boot fetish cheaply.

stillvicarinatutu · 18/10/2022 23:15

Oh and ugg Bailey button long boots for 12 £

I love Vinted !

Abcdefgh1234 · 18/10/2022 23:55

I always goes to premium brand in vinted

so far my best buy are

massimo dutti tweed blazer for £20

reiss dress £9

ralph lauren kids jumper £5

Lk bennet dress £10

hobbs dress £10

all excellent conditions.

PinkButtercups · 19/10/2022 02:42

I recently bought my very first item off of Vinted.
Paw Patrol Pup Pad. £3.50! DS keeps picking it up in the shop and I knew it wasn't worth £15! He loves if and definitely worth the £3.50.

InsomniacVampire · 19/10/2022 06:28

I got a lot of Next items for around a fiver. A few lovely dresses (Jolie Moi, Joanie, Monsoon) for around a tenner each. I got a few amazing items for a bit more, but they were very unusual and was verry happy to pay a bit more. Two/three Lindy Bop dresses- again around 10/15 quid.
But Next has definitely been the best mine of outfits, so many people list them for so cheap, I am almost angry at myself for buying them in the past on sale for half price lol.

catfunk · 19/10/2022 07:31

One day in summer I realised all of my accessories I was wearing were from vinted -
Black birks
Gap denim jacket
Cos bag

Gr33ngr33ngr4ss · 19/10/2022 08:24

My entire autumn wardrobe is from vinted!

Sold some bits too
