Are you still wearing skinny jeans?

I know they're supposed to be going out of fashion at the moment but having tried all other styles, including flares which are supposed to look good on my body shape, skinny jeans are the only ones that look half decent.
All my friends have ditched them, and I've noticed lots of other mums have too at nursery pick up etc.
It doesn't overly bother me but I'm curious as to whether people are fully ditching them or still clinging on like me? 😃

Sorry if I'm asking a silly question but is there much difference between skinny and straight/slim? Is the latter a bit more giving on the full leg?

I've bought a couple of pairs of bootcut over the last few months from Vinted to try out again and they're great with ankle/Chelsea boots. My knee highs will always go with my skinnies

I never stopped! They suit my shape and my arse looks fantastic in them 😁

I had a massive trying on spree yesterday of various types of jeans and trousers - wide leg and narrower legs with stripes down the side . I looked shite in all of them part from my skinny jeans. I have great legs so why hide them?

I'm still wearing them, they are flattering no matter your body type.

I don’t really know any women around my age or younger (I’m in my 20s) still wearing skinny jeans. I’m skinny but I don’t think these type of jeans suit most people.

Half the problem with adopting a more flared style this time round is that flat shoes are still ubiquitous. trainers look ok with mum, boyfriend and balloon shapes but a bit sloppy/stunted with wider bottoms.

I saw it today, 1st time in > 12 years, a woman walking along walking on her own trousers (too long & too much fabric at bottom). Never a good look for anyone.

I got rid of mine in 2018 and moved to slim or straight/boyfriend. I never really got on with them as I have muscly calves and they feel restrictive on me. Last winter I got a pair of wide leg and i've never looked back ! So much more comfortable and I wear jeans a lot more now. I have 3 pairs now and 2 boyfriends and that's all I wear. I wouldn't buy them now as I think they look dated.

Yes I vary between the M&S super soft skinny which I have in medium indigo and dark indigo. Rolled up with chunky trainers or boots.

Also wear the M&S slim boot cut jean and M&S mom jean. Love the mom jean.

l love skinny jeans and they fit well with my uggs boots

RaininginDarling · 21/10/2022 00:25

I spend six months of the year in boots or wellies so yes, I'm still wearing them.

I just hope the skin tight jeans for men hit the dust . My husband wears them & although he looks good , I would still prefer bootcut or straight jeans for men .

They look ridiculous imo.
