What tights are the most comfy?

Fed up with my tights digging in and making me feel sick by the end if the day. Which have a comfy waistband and don't fall down?

I prefer semi opaque black or nude as i work somewhere corporate so need to look smart - usually 30 - 40 denier. I've avoided Snags because people say the thinner ones are rubbish and snag.

I'm 5ft 8 size 14 with a tum. Thanks.

Falke, expensive but the last and are comfy. Harder to find a good choice in real life, my local John Lewis used to have rows upon rows of choice now just a couple rows

heist tights are great

I actually love Snag! I tend to have the thicker denier ones but the fit is just dreamy. I initially got the wrong size which rolled down but then sized up and they're perfect.

Thanks, will check them out 👍

M&S are still good - just get a size larger and they won't dig in.

Snag are very good in terms of comfort/not being tight around the waist, but I really don't like their skin toned ones at all, black is usually sold out and not everybody likes a waistband right up under their ribs, however stretchy it is. I also prefer a little more support than something that could easily expand to cover me, both cats and probably the sofa at a pinch.

Snag tights! They are theeee best and I've tried many. The quality is great and they wash really well

Just bought some comfy wool mix tights from next.

Primark fleece lined and tesco finest!

I have tried a few brands recently and Snag have been by far the comfiest.

Falke tights, I used to buy from my local JL but have recently ordered off Amazon.

onmywayamarillo · 16/10/2022 09:31

Marks and Spencer's cotton opaque tights are fantastic and don't have that awful shine... that make my legs looks sausages!
They are more like falke tights but £8 per pair

luckylavender · 16/10/2022 09:39

I've tried loads & my favourite remains Asda.

Craftycorvid · 16/10/2022 09:55

Has to be Snag. Great value for money and really soft. Some of the designs are a bit…..different, but they do plenty of neutrals, too.

Popsy

I like the M&S Seam Free tights. There is no nasty centre seam the top is knitted like a tube.

They come with a sensible sized cotton gusset so knickers are an optional extra. If you leave the knickers off they adhere to your body without slippage as there is no double layering of bunching. It also gives you a better line. This might sound odd but sister and I have been doing this for years and several friends have "converted'.

Health and safety warning, don't try this with tights without a cotton gusset or those with a centre seam though.
