Here's a new thread for all things Toast..

I bought two pairs of the Lucy and Yak cords today. I have to say they are very nice. Not as high waisted as the gabis ✅ and also a bit longer (also ✅). Downside is no belt loops. Overall really pleased with them. The green is a lovely colour. They are large though so even if you are at the very top of the dual sizing I’d go down.

Thanks @Snowyowl78 - sounds like it will be too short for me 😂 I have the opposite issue where I like dresses to be mid calf at least.

Like a few of you, I've not been feeling too much love recently to the Toast offerings. Bought nothing in the last sale and my only purchase has been the cornflower blue fairisle which is a perfect match to my cord culottes purchased a few seasons ago and a bread bag. I am pleased though as today I've finished my Toast inspired upcycled jumper to go with my mineral blue cords.

@neveradullmoment99 @applecatchers36 @dudsville thank you, you're all too kind. I've not embroidered for ages, but it was nice and relaxing and the stitches not too difficult. I could pick it up and do 30mins here and there. I loved that jumper as soon as I saw it, but the original colour was a big, big no for my complexion. I watched the video this week and the lofty fairisle was the only thing that spoke to me but too similar to the one I bought last year to make me want to purchase.

I just had a look @faustina! Nearly bought a couple of tops but managed to walk away. Which trousers did you buy?

@dudsville - there were some nice things weren't there? I bought these - but they'll have to be perfect for me to keep them - and if anyone else does buy anything be careful about their returns, as you only have a week to get a refund, after that it's another week for a credit note only

I looked at those too, they do look great! Ithought they could have been shown off much better irl than the model does in the pic. I already have a pair of billowy denim trousers so was able to stand down!

The model isn't great, but don't you think the pics are generally really helpful, in a way that Toast totally isn't? I have some lovely ecru Toast carpenter jeans but no denim ones in a similar style, so I thought worth a go for that price!
