@toastfiend lucky DS indeed. My first pony (it was my friends but we essentially shared it) was an unsaintly fat black Shetland. He used to stop and eat grass mid pretty much mid everything so I mostly remember sliding off over his head a lot. Loved him. He next one which I also nicked was a welshy who perfected drop and spin. So sliding out the side door this time.

It's an eternal mystery as to why I'm so obsessed with animals that mostly try to bury me!

Sorry - we come back into S&B and turn it into Horse and Hound.

I have just spent this evening cleaning a small Visconti leather rucksack that I picked up in a charity shop for £3 this week.

Of course I used saddle soap - so kind of Style and Horsey if you will.

2 looks from me today, one for WFH (first time wearing my winter loungewear, had to show it to somebody since DH doesn't appreciate it!) and one for the nursery run with the baby carrier.

WFH outfit is from Narue/ Laduree, and the 2nd one is H&M and Uniqlo. Loving my wool & cashmere blend cap from Uniqlo!

@toucaninjapan I’m a fan of loungewear too with lots of eye rolling from DH when I change into it from about 4pm 😁

I’m going to be wearing this skirt so often! Love it and thank you for the appreciation. It’s an investment buy for me using eBay sales money . Wish I was 6 inches taller like the model. Remind me of the rising skirts Laura Ashley sold in the 70s

@Purplecatshopaholic I wanted to ask about the new dog but was anxious in case something had gone wrong! So beautiful and thank you for rescuing a dog in need

adding a photo of our elderly chap who had his 14th birthday yesterday. Despite vet giving him perhaps 2 more months in May and too many to say scary moments in the last 2 years? I love this boy. And one of the younger who didn't know what to do with (dog) birthday cake so took it to bed until he worked it out ( snaffled by the cats)

The DM loafers arrived yesterday but only had chance to open them this morning.

I really like them - will wear with skirts/shorter dresses a lot.

Here they are with one of my animal print sweaters and boyfriend jeans - won't actually wear them with this outfit but wanted to try on.

That skirt with the bizarre band would be a big nope from me too @toucaninjapan

As for baby EnoBaby's hair - bunches like that seem to bring out the devilish charmer in her. She actually asked a family if we could push in front of them whilst queuing for a lazy river ride yesterday evening! They looked quite non-plussed so I apologised profusely but did find it hilarious.

She is actually the inspiration behind my username as, during the new born hair loss stage, she morphed into a 'Before and After Science'-era Brian Eno for a week or so 🤣

Newborn hair loss/change stage is really something, mine was born with (almost) black hair, then it suddenly turned grey, and now she has exactly the same strawberry blonde as me! It's crazy! Some people think I've dyed her hair lol (some people dye hair of their babies and toddlers to make it look blonde or brown, which was one of the biggest cultural shocks to me honestly)

Meant to say the other day your comment about my leather blazer @toastfiend made my day, I was feeling really annoyed at myself that I haven't been doing any cardio to get my waist down, so can't wear everything I want to I'm looking at you satin skirt so thank you.

I did find it weird/ hard to wear at first as it is a loser style than I was used to but now I wear it a lot.

Omg what a dingy morning and thus a dingy photo! Today I have so much to do, DH away ( Bob Dylan concert with eldest two, gift from me) and hope to get my wardrobe sorted out with replacement rail up and a pile of clothes to sell. I have my eye on something and need to make at least £130 before I can buy!
the loafers came and I LOVE them but these also slip off my heels. Any ideas? Is it my feet? This is why I so often wear backless shoes. I do have narrow feet
Also I bought a pair of gazelles off vinted and am now terrified they won’t come. Vinted scares me.
