I bet that was exciting though, waiting and wondering to see what your house would look like in reality and I bet that bookshelf looks sooo pretty, Witchcore is super lovely and enchanting!
I'll have to get some pics of the otherside of my workshop it's very busy to say the least(if a bit messy, lots and lots of fabrics, lace and made items) although I love painting furniture so there is lots of bits of furniture in there which I bought dirt cheap(one of my dressers cost me £5 no joke) and pretty'd up myself! My dh has made some bits of furniture also out of old bits of wood and drawers we found in one of the lofts when we moved in, so I'm quite thrifty with regards to furniture especially when i know exactly what i want, it drives dh bonkers sometimes because im like a dog with a bone once I've got an idea in my head! Also I love the cardigan the colour is gorgeous it would look lovely with your floral dress from the last post and oh so cute with your dungarees aswell, and totally go back and get the sweatshirt in the blue and beige, its a must, you need it(that's always my excuse)😉😁

Did the winter/summer clothing swap yesterday, the polo necks and Autumn colours are on. Bought this outfit last year Autumn and love the slight 70s vibe!

As for the "well-mannered." tops, I might be too embarrassed to wear them haha! I love how they put that little dot at the end of the word. Makes it all look a bit intimidating!

May I ask whether anyone owns knitwear made with raccoon or fox wool? What is it like? Is it warm, what about pilling?
I knew about raccoon wool, but just discovered that that fluffy and soft like a dream cardigan I was trying on today is actually 90% fox wool! I've googled and it looks like they use naturally shredded wool here, so it's cruelty-free. Didn't know you could wear a jumper made with actual fox wool!
It makes me even more tempted to buy that cardigan now. Maybe I should go for a more neutral shade than pink...

Someone should invent Labrador wool. My black lab sheds enough fur to make another 10 dogs 🐕

No news from management or HR on Friday which I've been looking forward to. Neither about me nor anybody else being chosen for the role I was trying to get. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday when HR will upload their internal transfer announcement online, however since I wasn't told anything on Friday, I guess I'm not going anywhere?..

I ended up purchasing that fox yarn cardigan! Couldn't resist it. People say there's not a lot of pilling with fox yarn and it's incredibly warm. I snatched the last piece from the store, and the lady who sold it to me said that these were gone in an instant, apparently fox and raccoon knitwear is rare, but extremely popular!

I haven’t fully embraced autumn clothes yet, it’s still around 16 degrees around here (and warmer next week). Been a bit bored with my outfits lately, I end up with jeans and a top/light knit. When the weather turns, I’ll be getting out tights and boots to wear with winter dresses.

@toucaninjapan it's Vero Moda but from last winter. Today I am slobbing in jeans and a sweater (Ballon jeans M&S, Ripcurl sweater and Hoff trainers) but we are going out tonight so a chance to wear something a bit more dressy.
Beautiful day here, mild and sunny. The sea is flat and my ddog is allowed back on my favourite beach today (dog ban over) so looking forward to taking her for a lovely swim this afternoon.

@PalacePaper if you're worried about your washing machine hand dying is dead easy. It's just a bucket or bathtub with water and dye, then as many clothes as you can find to dye, leave for the required time then rinse and dry. Nothing happens to the dye that's in the bucket so if your clothes that need dying don't all fit in at once you can do them in batches using the same dye water.

@MargotLB I definitely agree on trusting your instincts when deciding what to wear - I enjoy thinking about what I like to wear and think suits my style rather than what's fashionable or 'should' suit my shape.

@toucaninjapan I absolutely love the pink cardigan, it's a beautiful colour and if it was the last one it was meant to be yours! I've never heard of fox or raccoon wool, look forward to hearing how it wears.

Yesterday I was at a spa so wore comfies from sweaty Betty and an M&S thermal top underneath. Today skirt is warehouse and jumper M&S. Plus sheepskin slipper boots indoors to keep my feet toasty, changed into proper boots to go out 😊
