Thoughts on this dress

I need a new dress for a few events before Christmas ( dinner with a friend at The Wolesley, a conference in Boston, Paris with DD- life’s not normally this exciting). Normally I’d get something moderately stylish but safe from Hobbs. However, this came up on my FB feed and caught my eye. I like that the clothes are designed and made in England, and they are made from
natural fabrics.

Is it nice and quirky or peri-menopausal try-hard?

I meant they would love it as an English woman in a cheesy English film with floppy haired men and cutesy dressed women!

I have lots of genuine vintage clothes and none of them look like this; I would not be visiting a shop that sold brand new mass produced dresses if I wanted a vintage one.

That aside, the only thing I don't 'get' is why the website is referring to the dress as 'she' and 'her' ?

No I don't like it. It looks very drab. Not quirky.

I think it could look amazing with the right thing. I agree with PP who said black suede.
