Vanilla-based perfume

Recommendations?

I don't like most general high street perfumes (Sorry) but I'm looking for something based around vanilla that isn't too sweet nor too masculine.

Perfumers I have bought from so far:
Serge lutens
Pierre Guillaume
Diptique (ok this is more high street)

I tend to like gourmande type perfumes...

Suggestions?

Sylvaine Delacourte has a collection of 5 vanilla-based fragrances, and you can get samples of all 5 for a tenner which can be redeemed against a full size. I love Virgile but they're all nice!

Dyptique Eau Duelle.

It's a dry-is sort of vanilla. Very grown up.

H and M do a bottle called vanilla for 4.99, it is lovely and I always get compliments on it. I know you said you don't like high street but it really is nice.

Jo Malone Vanilla and Cassis. It's my winter perfume.

I was in boots yesterday and smelled the new Theirry Mugler Alien Goddess and it was sublime, £108 for 90ml and pure vanilla goodness but with a lovely and unique twist. Definitely worth a look.

Lalique le parfum is a lovely, quite different vanilla scent. The bottle is gorgeous too.

The Sylvaine Delacourte vanillas are a good shout. Also Profumum Roma do a range of vanilla based, gourmand fragrances that are high quality. Not sure if they do a taster set.

Dont dismiss designer brands completely.

Al Rehab Choco Musk as recommended by a PP is my most complimented perfume ever. Almost every time I wear it a stranger will ask what it is, or I'll hear people saying things like 'Can you smell cake?'

The most delicious chocolatey vanilla in the world.

Hypnotic Poison -amber vanilla fragrance. The vanilla notes are strong - always got positive comments when I wore it.

Annick Goutal Nuit et Confidences is my favourite vanilla perfume.

Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes - definitely not too sweet.

If only there was one shop that sold all of these delicious sounding fragrances!!!

Tocca Collette is lovely, it’s a warm floral with creamy lemon and vanilla notes.
