To ask on what occasions you wear lipstick and do you touch up during the day?

Super frivolous Friday chat.
I love lipsticks but fon’t wear them as often as I’d like to. I always put it on during the weekend but, when I am at work, I usually avoid it as I end up drinking coffee/tea and don’t have access to a mirror all the time to check it’s still in place and not on my teeth etc so I find it more practical not to use it. I’d love to though!
I am just curious to know what others lipstick habits are!

Also, what is your go to shade?

I wear lipstick all day, every day. Usually a brown-ish pink or brown-ish red.

I apply using a mirror but touch up by feel unless there is a mirror nearby. I can feel when the lipstick is wearing off and I hate that feeling so I know when to reapply.

I love lipstick and wish I remembered to wear it everyday! I probably wear it every other day, and always on special occasions.

I keep a Clinique chubby stick in strawberry by my laptop at home for Teams meetings.

At the moment I have Estee Lauder liquid lipstick in sweet tart in my handbag.

Both of these I can put on in seconds without needing a mirror!

I mostly wear pinks/mauves.

Also, I remember the January lipstick challenge on here. I did it one year, I think before lockdown. If it runs again in 2023 I’ll join in 👄

Never. I never wear a lot of make up but when I do put make up on I find lipstick just ott. I wear a coloured lip balm - the Nivea cherry one or something similar.

Hardly ever wear it. When I do put it on for a night out I NEVER remember to reapply it even though I may sometimes put it in my bag. So I don't know why I bother at all really as it's pretty much gone in half an hour or as soon as I eat or drink.

I wear lipstick every day (take a look at my 30 days of lipstick inspo thread) I have some I don’t have to top up as they are long lasting and hers that need freshening up. I each lipstick feels different on and it’s about knowing what you like.

Every day when I’m in the office, colour coordinated to my outfit because I’m extra and love being extra. Most often it’s cherry red as that suits my complexion best. But no fancy brands- only boots! Their lipliner is great. I touch up throughout the day but my office has a mirror on the wall which is convenient 😂

I wear them often, when I feel like wearing make up I always wear lipstick. I top up as and when needed, some last and some fade after 10mins. Just reapply, you can feel when you need to. Maybelline superstar 24 hours lasts ALL day it's my new go to since they discontinued my old fav.

Yes every day. Pale pink and reapply regularly. Actually a joke at work because if I am stressed my colleagues tell me to put my lipstick on to relax me 😅

I never wear lipstick even when I go out as I put it on, and it's started to come off within minutes and I NEVER either remember or be bothered to continually reapply. So I've just stopped wearing it altogether. Pointless.

Only when I go out. The juicier ones bleed into my little wrinkles and the long stay ones make my lips look like cardboard in a couple of hours. I’d love to wear lipstick daily but my lips are just too old and dry, I guess.

Every day. My lips are incredibly pale though and I do look like death without. I only wear very neutral shade though, and never remember to reapply during the day (I really should though)

I wear lipstick daily and touch up, as and when required when I pop to the loo.

I wear a Factor Lipfinity one - every day and doesn't need refreshing.

Sorry to be pedantic, but it's Max Factor Lipfinity and not Rimmel Lipfinity (just in case anyone is looking for it)!
