There must be something that stops frizz

This weather is just awful for my hair. It needs a cut which doesn't help but even so I'm sick of looking a mess.

I tried curly girl but it just doesn't suit my hair type at all, the top layer of my hair just won't curl at all.

I currently straighten my hair but even with products I walk outside and it goes into a frizzy mess- I just want to look groomed!!!!

An earlier poster mentioned Brazilian blow dries - I can whole heartedly agree! I had three of them over three years and they made such an enormous difference to my hair. I could go swimming, come out of the pool and let it dry naturally and it wouldn't be frizzy. It works better if you blow dry it, and my hair was so sleek when I did blow dry it, but being able to let it dry naturally and not have it be a hideous frizzy mess was a revelation.
I haven't had one since Jan 2020 and it's only in the last few months that I've noticed it's not as smooth and manageable as it once was, so I might get another one done soon. My hair is really thick, and the minute it hits humidity or rain it explodes into a frizzy mess, the Brazilian blow dry was the only thing that put a stop to this and made me feel more relaxed about my hair.
