I want some warm comfy boots for colder weather ahead.

What do you think of Uggs?

Are they still a big No no?? a waste of money?.. or are similar looking cheaper versions just as good.

Recommendations please!

I love them and since I live in the west of Ireland have no choice but to wear them in the rain otherwise I’d never get the opportunity to wear them.

I have black slim ones for winter I have a chronic condition which means I feel cold a lot more and these are so toasty and can wear them bare foot as the sheepskin doesn’t make me sweaty. I haven’t tried anything cheaper but got these on sale. I don’t think they’re waterproof but I haven’t had any problem in rain or snow. I’m not image conscious at my age so only wear what is comfortable and warm and uggs happen to do the job.

I wear mine indoors and buy new sheepskin insoles every year to keep them cosy.

I have these for working from home. I don't think I'd wear them outside though.
