Aveda damage remedy. Try to replace it every few years and skulk back with my tail between my legs each time.

Aveda heat protecter in the blue tube. Last one lasted me 5 years. I know because I got married the year I bought it.

Dermalogica multivitamin recovery mask. Never found a dupe and it gives you that well nourished look. Dermalogica cleanser, sunblocks etc too.

Superdrug vitamin E intensive body cream. Rich but not heavy in mineral oil.

White wine, I don't know where it all goes!

Nivea Q10 moisturiser. It's the only one I've ever found which is non greasy but leaves skin feeling elastic. (Apart from L'Occitane Immortelle which is about 10 times the price.)

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil

This was my daily treat in lockdown and have continued using it ever since. Simply lovely.

When I had a newborn and was struggling with tiredness, someone on here recommended making mornings as lovely as possible, e.g buying posh coffee & gorgeous shower-gel etc to help with the pain of getting up after a broken night’s sleep. So I thought I’d temporarily treat myself by buying L’Occitane shower oil. The newborn is about to start secondary school and it’s still the product I always buy!!

I’d also add Aveeno Skin Relief lotion and No7 Protect & Perfect serum to the list. Would have also added No7 Lovely Lashes mascara but they’ve recently discontinued it 😩

OhMerde
I use tretinon (.from.dermatica.. low level each day.25)
I am not sure of its affects(used to use good genes) .

I am i ntrested to read that you use it too. What do you think to it.?..what sort of dosage, if you dont mind advising.?
also., your retinol crysal product, do ypu use.alongside tret?thanks!

I cancelled my subscription from dermatica. Didn't like their tret. Found it both drying and irritating. I used to use Obagi, which is fab but expensive. I now use A313, which is the best I've used. Doesn't irritate my skin, non drying and makes me peel like a snake! It's really cheap but only in France. Sorry. Try and get some though if you can, it's brill.

I alternate it with medik8 and normal moisturiser. Day 1 A313, day 2 medik8, day 3 moisturiser.

OhMerde · 26/08/2022 09:04

I just googled A313. Good news, you can get it in the UK! Bit more expensive than France but still good value and cheaper than dermatica.

Rimmel Hide The Blemish. The best blemish concealer there is imo.

Me too. I find myself getting sucked in to the latest new concealer then always revert to Rimmel. I find it especially good on any redness around my nose.

I keep meaning to have a look for Rimmel Heather Shimmer lipstick to take me back to my teenage years.
