Fashion people, what are you lusting after for Fall 22? I am making a list of wants (long) and buys (very short so far) and trying to work out what the real trends are for this season. Definitely orange?

I am thinking a rust jumper. Maybe yellow or orange trainers?

The tan coloured leather skirt in m and s - oh wow just wow 😍

I generally do a capsule wardrobe so I'll be waiting for the colder weather to really kick in before I assess what I have/ what condition it's in or what I might want to add.

I know I need a new scarf or two as mine are all tatty and bobbled after a few years use so were relegated to the dog walking pile in the last sort out.

I have a lovely brown jumper I got a lot of use out of last year that I'd like to replace if I can find a match for it, otherwise I'll get the bobble remover on to the one I have and try and eke it out for one more season.

One thing I always buckle on are coats, I love them so will probably end up with a new one this year again and always look forward to them trickling in to shops.

Trousers-I need to replace various skinnies but didn't find much I liked last winter apart from barrel & bf jeans.

I love wide legged trousers, have lots for other seasons but not winter as struggle with footwear to go with.

Also a cashmere jumper, coat and boots, not actually narrowed it down any further so will be watching all links with interest.

It feels like autumn is here in Scotland!

I’ve bought some new knitwear from Arket, new and via Depop, and ordered this orange coat last night.

Oh! I also ordered the OS jumper linked above in a Kelly green colour.

Oooh, I love orange, and am very happy that it's in right now. But I just can't think of autumn clothing until the weather turns.

Be aware the &Other Stories Mock Neck Jumper bobbles like a bastard. I barely got three wears out of mine before it started looking like a dog blanket.

I was going to say I’m looking at a bunch of &OtherStories jumpers.. that’s worrying!

@CointreauVersial i had a grey one a few years back and it was fine, I washed it inside out on a wool cycle. It did end up as a “house” jumper after a while though.

I'm waiting it out for a month or two, until I know whether the eczema that made last winter so uncomfortable will return. I stopped wearing wool altogether so I'm not looking at anything.

Leopard print skirt from Arket

I want some sort of black fabric biker type cardigan thing - however, I've wanted this item for years now and still no luck finding the right one

Got some nice trousers in M&S for work, so will be trying to get some cashmere to go with them. Have got a blue silk blouse that's arrived today as trying to work with my colours.

Wouldn't mind reintroducing black tights and heeled boots into my wardrobe as haven't worn them since before Covid. Struggling to find dresses that aren't too short or too long though. Not keen on black tights with below the knee dresses for some reason.

Really loved layering my long dresses with long chunky cardigans and DMs last year, so looking forward to that again.

I'm just looking forward to my coats. I bought 4 coats last year; 1 for cool dry weather, 1 for cool wet weather, one for cold weather that can also do wet and one wool. It was quite an overhaul. I can't wait to get back into them!

I bought an olive jumper in a recent sale, but have a lot of great cardigans in looking forward to gettting back in to them. They are recent purchases.

Agree re black tights and longer dresses. I opt for black fishnets or black sheer tights instead, as they just seem to work better than opaques when keeping out over ankle boots.

Those boots are amazing @whatnottowear , thank god they're so expensive!

I bought a long sleeved t-shirt in a plum colour to go with my ultra stylish arch support.

I fancy a long trench up to about £250...any recommendations welcome
