So has anyone tried Molecule 01 before?

Smells cheap to me

I can smell it on my skin (a lot of people say they can't smell it)

It's lasted all day. So good staying power

But just reminds me of D&G Light Blue but a bit more overpowering

Will other people be smelling something else? I'm confused over the hype!

I bought three samples, including Molecule 01, after reading about them on the other perfume thread. My friends gave it a thumbs up after smelling it on me, so I've now bought both the body wash and perfume. It is completely different from anything I have previously used and I like that it's not in your face like eg Opium.

I use this, it's lovely.

I bought a sample because of this thread and I like the smell but after spraying it on I can't smell anything at all, it just disappears.

I couldn't smell it on myself really. It wasn't very strong. DH said it was "herbal."

I remember the last thread about this! The whole concept baffles me but I might have to try it…

It’s vile on me. Smells strong, cheap and woody with far too much staying power, I was scrubbing it off. Never again.

So why is there so much variation between what different people smell with this one?

Since I commented few days ago about loving the Molecules 01+ mandarin sample I have gone ahead and bought it. I love it. A get gentle wafts of it during the day. And no one ever before has commented on my perfume. With this they do. I would hate to overpower and take over a room with a smell but my mum and aunty assure me it just when they are near me they pick up a lovely scent.

This one must just blend well with my own chemical makeup / sweat glands 😁😄👌

Shame it's so expensive but I only buy branded perfume once a year. And with 20 off discount code I managed to get works out same as what I'd of paid replacing Libre. (Which I also love but no one has ever once mentioned I smelt nice not even hubbie!)

Yes! That's exactly what I found too.

Reminds me of a spa smell (think it's like cedarwood)

I tried Molecule 01+Iris. Top notes were fantastic, the drydown smelt cheap on me
