Would you prefer to get lashes done or nails?

If you can only afford x1, which one?

Nails. I notice someone’s hands more than eyelashes.
Plus there’s mascara, lash fibres etc

Lashes definitely. I had the same choice and chose lashes, I just feel weird without them now. Also mascara really irritates my eyes. I'm fed up with the damage from getting my nails done too so it was an easy decision for me

Nails, but I have long eyelashes and always wear lash primer and mascara so they’re still pretty bold (just much more time consuming).

I’m awful at doing my own nails, chip any polish immediately etc so have gels - I like the variety that nails give with different colours and finishes.

Nails feels more like an accessory/finishing touch, whereas mascara is vital.

I can get a good result with mascara but not with nails so pay professionals for the latter!

I love having my nails done but I also love having lashes done so it's tricky. Both for infiils cost around the same too.

Nails but I’d choose a CND salon and check the lamp matched the polish.

Nails as I think most eyelash enhancers look silly. That’s going to be one of the styles people look back on and think, “That was weird”.

Nails. Fake lashes look OTT in my opinion

I have both done every 3 weeks but if I had to choose I'd keep my lashes - I literally don't need to bother with makeup if I have them on. I love my nails but they're not as "useful" as my lashes

How much do you have to spend? I do my own gel nails and for a treat / change I now use Lovon Lashes which I apply myself under my normal lashes.

They are super easy to apply (they come already cut into small pieces to stick on) and they last 3-4 days. Very easy to take off and reapply too. Best fake lashes I’ve ever used and they don’t pull out my own very short natural lashes. They’re only about £4.95 online and the glue is about £8/9.

just telling you this in case it means you can pay to have your nails done then buy these. I’m cack handed but manage to apply these in less than a minute. Somehow, applying under the lashes seems to work much better.

Lashes! But I've been having mine done for 10 years so look like a mole without them. Ita one of them things that I wouldn't recommend starting unless you intend to keep it up!

Nails - I think the false lash trend looks awful.

Lashes. If I uses a fairly neutral colour I can male a decent job of my own nails.

That said, what do you mean by lashes? I tint my own.

I don't like the very obvious false lashes look either, but just a few natural looking ones really makes a difference.

Defo nails, you can dye your lashes or wear a mascara and I absolutely hate the look of fake eye lashes. I don't think you can replicate professional manicure at home

Why do people hate the false lash look?

Has got to be lashes! If your lash tech is shit your lashes will look shit but I go for a natural wispy look and often get complimented on them.

I loooove being able to step out the house at any time without stressing about putting a face on.

Nails can be done at home with a quick swipe of polish if needed.

I don't bother with either except lashes for holiday as so good to not faff with make up, you can get very natural ones. I just use nail glow on my fingernails by Dior. I do like a pedicure in the summer months though.

Nails. I can see my nails but I can’t see my own eyelashes, so more pleasure to be had. I wouldn’t want false lashes anyway because I think they look tacky, but I would have mine dyed and curled.
