Thanks for all the comments. I’m going to see how many outfits I can put together with them before making a final decision.

There is something about today’s weather that feels autumnal. So I’ve dug out my velvet blazer (it has a floral pattern which doesn’t photograph well). I wonder what trends will emerge for autumn/winter? I’m hoping for an end to puffy sleeves and high necklines. And excited to see if the trend for looser jeans continues (I’d think I’d like a pair of wide leg ones).

I really love these Sézane blouses which are cotton and silk and you don’t feel them on at all, so light

Finding it so hard to appropriately dress for the weather at the moment - I'm either too hot or too cold.

haven’t posted as having worn much post worthy. Packing to move house 🤯

have taken so much to the charity shop and to the tip. I’ve just packed most of my wardrobe and kept a small selection out. Actually makes me wonder if I need all of the things I’ve packed 🤦‍♀️

Lovely outfits everyone. I am away for two weeks, first stop was a festival this weekend then camping in Cornwall followed by a week in Devon. So I won't be posting many outfits but enjoying seeing everyone's posts. Wore this Superdry dress yesterday to the festival with a denim jacket and tan sandals.

Ive been looking for another velvet jacket @oubliettebravo. I've got a navy one but its a bit smart if I recall correctly. Need to try it on again.
I'm stalking a couple of silk shirts on ebay. Hope they don't go too expensive.

@Sickoffamilydrama similar weather here and MN experience! It was down a long part of yesterday for me too

so it’s humid and dull. Not good weather
we had an eventful weekend and now have DD and his GF living with us for a while as their flat has flooded with sewage! They have rescued some belongings after getting home Saturday after work to discover it. Thankfully we aren’t too far from their respective workplaces ( they actually now run a pizzeria and deli together and he runs his bakery and food production business) so it all works okay. It’s actually rather nice having them home. He cooks dinner fairly well too and clears up afterward ! If only he had done so when he was still officially under our roof😂

A boring working from home outfit today, still too warm for most of my jeans, but these are nice and lightweight (although I find the paper bag waistband really tricky to style, if left exposed it makes my waist look twice the size).

Back online after a fraught few days with PurplecatDog, but he seems to be responding to the meds so fingers crossed. WFH today in a Desigual dress from ages ago, and heels from Shoes of Prey a much loved, but now defunct, shoe making company (where you designed your own shoes and they made them for you - bloody loved that company!)

I'm trying not to buy anything but that skirt is beautiful @OublietteBravo. Yesterday dress warehouse. Cardigan fat face.

Morning all, @Cardigansalltheway I only dip in and out but I love your style - nice simple lines. Also a fan of the Superdry dress @EllaPaella. I'm in the office today so top Oasis, jeans M&S, shoes Next but they are for decoration only as I can't walk in them so will revert to the many years old Sainsbury’s ones to actually leave the house.

Office today in All Saints dress and Nicholas Kirkwood heels. PurplecatDog is behind me and feeling much better so crossing fingers he continues to recover. Not so warm today in East Central Scotland but I have high hopes it will improve - ever the optimist!
