Find me a dress

Any dress, but I'd like one for a wedding.... a week tomorrow.

I'm 5'3", broad shouldered with strong legs. I'm peri so about 3 stone overweight.

I'm an overweight athlete so now I'm shaped like a barrel with broad shoulders. My arms are
Flabby too. I can't think how to dress myself so am considering buying a tent (may need to). I'm a 14-16.

I sound rather jovial about it but I really am not. Help me find a decent dress!

Maybe try something with v neck or a wrap dress to elongate you, this kind of thing could work. Not sure if you're on Instagram but there's a great account called clubforty.claire and she's just done a great series on how to dress different shapes and there has been some good advice on there.

I am fatter, shorter than you. But broad shoulders and no waist here either.

I got a really elegant, good-quality linen dress in COS recently. T-shaped cut, hangs nicely, but skims everything. You might need to shorten it, but you can dress it up or down.

I think this is lovely, lace is very forgiving and it's a skimming shape. Maybe just size up and have it tailored to fit you?
You could wear it with black shoes that I'm sure you've already got.
