Non greasy SPF for face - does it exist?

Just that really; can anyone recommend a non greasy, lightweight SPF cream for the face?

Bonus points for cream suited for mid 30s, dry skin.

I'm early 40s.

I find Ultrasun to be non greasy, though I tend to wear this September onwards. I also rate Boots Soltan SPF sensitive factor 50 for the face. It looks and feels greasy when its first applied but it sinks in nicely after a few minutes and skin feels dry to touch.

I use Bioderma factor 50, get it through Looking Fantastic. Lovely light texture. Stops me burning, use daily. Love it.

I use Beauty Pie. You use it over whichever moisturiser you like. I don’t notice I’m wearing it. Leave it for a minute, then put on your make up.

This is awesome

Goes on like a primer, non shiny too

Holland and Barrett used to do it, but not seen it in a while

La Roche Posay Anthelios face mist spf 50. Non sticky, nor greasy. Spray on and lovely and light. Used for years, brilliant stuff.

Nivea factor 50 is non greasy and goes really well under make up. I use it every day of the year as my moisturiser and despite having very spot prone skin this never makes me feel greasy or gives me spots.

Chronicallymothering · 13/07/2022 19:37

I’m using Ultra Violette supreme skin 50+ under make up and it’s great.

Hereforthedramaz · 13/07/2022 19:39

I recently tried the Drunk elephant sheet one,30spf and it really is lovely and sheer.

Feels really good, like a nice light moisturiser.

I like the dermalogica powerbright one too, also really light and non greasy

teatowelsneedawash · 13/07/2022 19:40

My extensive research has found only two that do not look even slightly greasy:

Heliocare 360 gel oil free 50 (they do more hydrating versions)

Frezyderm 50 sun screen velvet (goes on like a silicone primer)

Zireael · 13/07/2022 19:41

Wonderful - thank you for your suggestions

La roche posay. Doesn't sting your eyes either

MrszClaus · 13/07/2022 19:42

I use the Charlotte tilbury spf 50 primer - then top up during the day with the garnier spf 50 special face spray, it's amazing - non greasy and easy to use!

AuraBora · 13/07/2022 19:48

Last year I started using my children's Nivea 50 as it was just easier slapping some on myself after doing them.
I love the smell, it feels nice and I think my skin has improved using it every day. I'm not prone to greasy or dry skin, would say it's 'normal'.

This one is fabulous. Makes my skin feel lovely and soft and a little goes a long way

TheOGCCL · 13/07/2022 20:28

There are loads, SPF has come a long way. I use the Eucerin one linked up thread as am v greasy.

EdithStourton · 13/07/2022 20:46

Another vote for Heliocare. Just make sure you check if you're ordering the beige version or not!

frugalkitty · 13/07/2022 20:47

My DD and I use the Bondi Beach face spf and neither of us have had any issues with it. Doesn't irritate my eyes either which most do. I just blot it with a tissue lightly before I put any make up on.

DSGR · 13/07/2022 20:49

Another vote for La Roche Posay. It’s the only one I’ll use now, it’s so light! X

GettingStuffed · 13/07/2022 20:56

Tesco Q10 anti aging. I use it instead of moisturiser

Although weirdly even the non tinted one I have comes out a skinish colour but is nothing on the skin (I'm extremely fair and would notice!)

hallodarknessmyoldfriend · 13/07/2022 21:04

Bioderma or la roche posay are the best ones I tried.

Bioderma feels similar to skinceuticals spf and it's much cheaper

babysteps22 · 13/07/2022 21:05

Thank You Farmer Sun Project Water Sun Cream (SPF50). Cheap too.
