Trainer socks that stay put!

Can anyone recommend some trainer socks that stay on, don’t slip and don’t shrink to half the size after a normal wash? Also need the more invisible liner type socks for shoes. Have bought several now but none stay on!

I recently bought these sock liners from John lewis and they do stay put! Have washed well too (albeit only one wash so far).

Trainer socks, I have some adidas ones that have done well, annoying branding on them though.

Agree uniqlo. Both the slimmer sporty style and in the chunky knit ones which saw me through winter. I'm 7.5 so buy the mens socks. Not sure if they do the same styles in smaller.

Sweaty Betty do great trainer socks. In a pack of 3. I buy them over and over (and not because they don’t last - I keep losing odd ones).

Trainer socks from Primark

This is the second threat today about socks. I love bridgedale socks. They don't roll down, are made for sports/ hiking etc and last forever

If you don't mind manmade fibre I have just got some from Oysho and they are excellent. Better than Primark that I was using.

They’re the holy grail. I’ve been look for no show socks for ages and have spent a fortune. I thought I had found the one with a Nike sock, but they started to slip. I’ve had every make joint from primark to Sweaty Betty, all rubbish for me. I’m wearing primark cotton trainer socks at moment, the ones with little tab thing on the heel, they show a bit but stay up.

Bering a size 8, I have this all the time, as women’s socks really only go up to a 7. My favourite are Matalan’s pack of three - and I’ve tried Adidas, ASICS and Nike in my time.

I bought some New Balance ones from TK Maxx recently that don't slip down but they are not cotton. My cotton H&M ones are a nightmare for slipping down.

Mujis mens l-socks are absolutely brilliant- fit my size 6 feet and stay on no matter what.

Primark. Trainer socks are the only thing I buy there .

Muji. I get the men's as they shrink in the wash. They wouldn't work under ballet flats, but are fine with everyday trainers (not thick enough for me for sports).

Primark always stay up for me and they wash well.

I think Uniqlo is winning so far.

Primark trainer socks with the little ribs going round the ankle and elastic round the arch. Nothing else

Next ones 100% They have ribbing over the top middle part of the foot and never slide down.

It may not matter what brand you get, if your gait affects how your feet move inside the shoes.
