Please tell me honestly, as I just tried on these new jeans and my husband literally laughed in my face when I walked into the room

Op -this style jeans could really suit you but not this particular pair. The waist appears to sit too low down making your legs look short.Doesnt mean you have to stick to skinny....go to M&S and try all their different styles on maybe.

I really don't think they flatter you at all.

Notanotheruser111 · 03/07/2022 01:57

They’re not wide enough to be a wide leg if that makes sense they look more straight. I’d look for a a wide leg which has a slight flare to it so it gets wider at the bottom.

You have a gorgeous figure and could carry off with ease a smaller size.

Flattering isn’t really the point of fashion at the moment. I mean, when you think about it ‘flattering’ just means making your figure/body look good, which is pretty old fashioned and misogynistic tbh.
I think they look great.

Colour, texture, movement also contribute to making clothes look flattering. Oversize can look amazing so it really isn't about enhancing the body. Those jeans aren't a good look.

I agree that they seem too big on the leg..............

EllaPaella · 04/07/2022 07:35

They are way too long which is the main problem, it doesn't mean you can't experiment with wide leg jeans - you just need to find a pair that fit properly! It's not necessarily the style of the jean, they need to be several inches shorter on the leg for you. They look too big on the waist as well.
