If you search "closed toe" on MN there are quite a nos of threads in Style &B that might be helpful .

Have a look at some of the El Naturalista shoes here.

You need to be a bit more specific. “sandals” is generic for any shoe with open areas and straps. But they come in lots of different guises. For example, I wear Merrell type “activity sandals” as my friend used to call them, as they have moulded soles, stay on and are super comfy, but I hate flat leather Seasalt type ones.

Tell is what you don’t like about sandals- do you want to cover your toes? Do straps tend to rub? Do you find them hard to walk in?

I think that your options are probably very lightweight mesh trainers with socks or espadrilles (fabric slip ons with rope soles- look at Toms)

I have dyshidrotic eczema on feet and hands, so don't always want to wear sandals, so often wear espadrilles or canvas trainers in summer with a casual look.
