Tattooed eyebrows

Saw a friend this weekend and she has obviously had her eyebrows tattooed. It looks SO odd!
Why do people do this?
They are not even the same colour as her hair.

Because they can look really good? I mean you have to trust who is doing them!
They also fade, you have a touch up and they scab so it's not the final colour if she's just had them done

when they’re done well by a professional they look amazing, that’s why people have them done.

Helen Mirren had hers done and they look great. I'm quite tempted to have a light colour done.

They looked like an emoji 🤷🏽‍♀️

Because 9/10 times they look really good

Like a marker pen has been used... seriously do people think this looks good?

Well no, they're really badly done. But not all look like that

I've seen it done with far more subtlety. Those are awful!

Phew. I thought I was missing something! I couldn't stop staring at my friend's when I spoke to her. She must have got a bad job I guess. Nightmare 😱

I think they can look good if done well.

My colleague has had hers done and they look horrendous.

My sister had hers done and I was horrified when I saw her. They were so terrifying. I felt actually sad and so upset I couldn’t tell her the truth about how they looked.

After a week they had calmed right down and now look amazing! I am so impressed. She had them a very light brown, they look fab.

I have mine done they do not look like the sharpie brows above, I have mine done because one of my eyebrows fell out and never grew back, I now have two eyebrows and no longer have to wear my hair hanging over my face like an elderly emo kid hiding my missing eyebrow.

Usually tarte busy gal or the ABH tube one

That really isn't a good example. When done well by a professional they look amazing, I'm giving it some serious consideration as my brows are so light.

Yes they do look like this first , then slowly fade over 6 weeks. Then you get a top up at 7 weeks and they look lovely and natural.
I've just had mine done

I had mine done because I lost most of the (dark) hairs to alopecia. They look pretty natural. Even my mum never noticed I'd had them done, it came up in conversation after 3 years and she hadn't realised.

I think they almost always look weird if I’m being honest. But each to their own.

@SummerPuddings Yep they do gradually fade until the 6 week top up , these are mine after 2 weeks from the initial application

Just had mine done yesterday and I am distraught
I ask for a micro blading but feel this is nothing like I asked for
my husband looks at me and laughs each time
feel like I can only go out with sunglasses on
so regretting it
