@Cantonet Wrappings was reformulated over ten years ago, If you've been buying it since then and enjoying it, then you'll continue to do so. The old one was something special. The fake oakmoss in the new one is horrid. I've bought it twice in recent years and had to wash it off.

You can pick up vintage Wrappings (at a price) on eBay.
Almost everything with Oakmoss (and not only) was reformulated in the early noughties.
That's why Opium, Rive Gauche, Ysatis, Dioressence, Obsession, Chanel 19, and a hundred other magnificent grande dame powerhouses are no longer quite so magnificent. Chanel (no surprises really) has managed to weather the reforms better than most, but some are unrecognisable now.
I trawl eBay and stock up on the old versions of those.

I usually like very strong fragrances but I was given some Nivea perfume (normal and soleil one) and they're lovely and light for day, don't last long though!

My sister bought me this and I get comments every single time I wear it telling me what a gorgeous scent it is and asking what it is. I'll definitely be buying another bottle.

@Pafmo & @Cinnamon are not reformulations happening all the time?
My latest bottle of Cristalle seems insipid. Some reformulations are better than before, but it depends on your perception. Some perfumes now smell truly awful to me and are completely unrecognisable.

I will have to date my Wrappings as it still smells great & pungent with Oak Moss.

Island Escape by m&s unfortunately they've discontinued it and I can't find it anywhere! It was the perfect summer scent - I'm really hoping to track down a bottle before I go on holiday.

Malin and goetz- dark rum or Atkinson's - pirate's grand reserve are both perfect for Autumn imo.

Don’t overlook Yardley perfumes if you like a quality single floral scent. They’ve had a bit of an overhaul image wise. I have their Freesia and Bergamot and the Rose. Amazingly cheap but really good quality, long before Jo Malone was around.

Yes, tweaks here and there, but there was a massive legal move back then to remove certain ingredients full stop and certain percentages of others.
I agree that some are no longer worthy of the name.
Oddly, Perfume Parlour dupes of some of them smell more similar to the original than the reformulation. Rive Gauche is one. My PP one is fabulous, the (new) real thing is like a shadow of itself.
