Suspect we have a similar "nose" so thanks for some new leads. There's nothing finer in warm weather than a fresh neroli scent. The 4711 Floral Jasmine has neroli notes. I had a sample and have just ordered.

That's my main summer scent. I don't even wear that much any more, I've just got out of the habit over lockdown. Thanks for the reminder that it's worth wearing a scent! It's going on tomorrow.

that I missed that Marc Jacobs was discontinuing his original Woman fragrance. I have one back up bottle but would have bought 5 if I'd known... haven't found anything else to compare, so any ideas welcomed!!

Get thee to M&S or Amazon for Monotheme Agrumi di Sicilia. It's about a tenner and mainly neroli based. It's beautiful. Fragonard (also in M&S) have a neroli one (Fleurs d'Oranger iirc)
Both knock socks (and £££££s) off Neroli Portofino, lovely though it is- you're paying far more for the "Tom Ford" bit than the "Neroli" bit!

Autograph in M & S also do a nice (and cheap) neroli. As does Yves Rocher if you are in Europe.

My main summer scent is some Monoi body spray by Yves Rocher, which they have brought back this year. I am not sure if I actually like it or whether it just reminds me of holidays in France when the children were small!

Top favourites for summer evenings are Eau du Sud and Musc Nomade both by (Annick) Goutal.

4711 was my first perfume, my mum gave me as she found I’d squirted some of her perfume 😊

TeaMeBasil. Definitely worth trying Peony and blush suede It lasts really well and although it’s very strong when you first spray it, it dries down beautifully and lasts all day (on me) and stays on clothes longer.
