eye make-up always smudging..feel like giving up!

By midday, my make-up (especially eyes) is very smudged.. I dint wear a lot, or mascara on lower lashes
I have invested in long wear liner, and also Urban Decays all-nighter fixing spray, which is supposed to be amazing..Still smudges! I use a little powder, but not too much
Is there any hope? I'm 40 btw

Revisiting this thread to say thank you to whoever suggested Eyeko liner — I bought the Black Magic pen in M&S and it’s really good for longevity. In the interests of science, I will do an N = 1 experiment with the Stila one next time
