I'm naturally dark brown.
I've been getting highlights for years now.
My hair is really dry /damaged
Can this be fixed or not?
I have started using kerastase shampoo and hair mask and laying off the heat
Would you just chop it all off ?

Cut off a few inches (you can grow it back when it's in better condition). I have regular highlights, and use either Hask argan oil conditioner, or their deep conditioning mask, and once a week I use Michael Van Clark's pre wash treatment. I don't have any damage to my hair.

I don't use straighteners on it.

@Catcatcat12 I think this is where I'm going wrong
Using protein masks too much
I need a conditioner /mask without protein but can't find any

I did some research in order to find an alternative, I ended up ordering the coco and Eve mask. It has coconut oil which is not for everyone but it works for me. Cutting down on the protein treatments and using a clarifying shampoo once a month or so gave me my soft hair back. It was like candy floss, it was in awful condition, so I had almost given up. Mine looked much worse than yours does in your photos.

I still use straighteners or a curling iron once a week or so (with a heat protection product of course…)

And by the way, the kerastase product you mentioned, the one in the green jar, was the WORST for my hair. It made my already brittle crunchy hair ten times worse.

The garnier ultimate blends masks and conditioners are protein free
Shea moisture deep treatment raw Shea is too
Both should be in boots/Superdrug or online easy to find

It’s over processed. Every time you lighten hair it causes damage and I expect your hairdresser is repeatedly going over the same sections. I would chop of the ends, they are beyond repair, and choose a darker colour, even if it’s a darker blonde. Or if you are committed to the platinum I would wait longer between sessions at least.
