Best chub rub shorts for a lady on a budget?

Help me please Mumsnetters!

I'm a slightly larger lady (size 16 but quite tall) but my thighs are suffering after only a few hours in a dress today. It's not even that warm!

I need to get some shorts but I want the best I can get for the smallest budget possible... what can you recommend?

Another vote for Snag

I use chamois cream if it is really warm - or any stick/cream meant for cyclists.

I love my Sloggi Long Pants - I don't wear them that often so a couple of pairs have lasted for years!

Liquid talc powder from the baby aisle at Asda. Honestly a life changer IMO

Wow! I was literally about to add your very post!! A good slather of this in the morning and I’m set for the day! I keep a little pot of it with me for top-ups but I don’t need it! I’m sure it’s only £1 a tube and it is amazing!

Here it is 😉

Cheap cotton/jersey cycling shorts like boohoo.com or Primark.

I find snag ones very sweaty, like wearing thick tights.

My absolute favourite are sloggi long, but hard to get sometimes.
