Cream blusher recommendations?

Sodthatforagameofsoldiers · 27/05/2022 09:58

I've started to find powder blusher looks a bit odd on me, not sure why. It suddenly looks really unnatural. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cream blusher? Or a very good powder blusher?

High street options would be good as I'll be in our local town centre later but I could order online too.

Thanks!

Kosas cream blush and highlighter and Ilia multi stick

I highly recommend the Elf cream blushers. Very good quality ( they are on sale in Superdrug at the moment! £4!!) They are dupes for brands like Fenty. I have 3 of them and wear them all the time!

Another vote for Stila convertible colour from me.

Any Cloud Paint colour recommendations please for auburn hair, freckles and hazel eyes?
Just got to try it after this thread!

Firstinlastout · 29/05/2022 09:00

Silly question!!but if you wear a foundation and face powder can you still use liquid blush? If so does it go underneath the powder?I've never used it before but can never find a nice powder blusher.

I’ve got Auburn hair and freckles but blue eyes. Am quite pale and I went with BEAM Cloud Paint.

PumpkinCrumble · 29/05/2022 17:32

Sorry that was for @FormerlySpeckledyHen

imstilljenny2 · 30/05/2022 09:19

@Firstinlastout I would probably just use it over liquid foundation. I use it over liquid foundation with no issues. I use face powder but only down the middle of my face and not on my cheeks. If I use powder bronzer I use this under my cheekbones so the two formulations don't mix.

Thank you Pumpkin

I am a total cheapskate but have found a 2 quid orange/red lipstick that works perfectly as a cream blush. Lasts literally for years.

Amichelle84 · 30/05/2022 15:02

I really like the glossier cloud paint, loads of colours too and you can use on cheeks.

SabrePrattler · 30/05/2022 15:04

Well I dislike Glossier's Cloud Paints. MUA do a near identical dupe though if you want to try them.

I like Milk's cream stick blushers.

rbe78 · 30/05/2022 15:27

@Firstinlastout I use Cloud Paint, and I use it after my BB cream/foundation but before powder. I find it doesn't blend as well over powder, and also that the powder helps diffuse the colour of the blush.

nars liquid blush in orgasm

Bobbi brown

LunaTheCat · 31/05/2022 10:38

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge - beautiful touch colour without overwhelming.
I often with just smudge a bit of lippy and used as a blusher - surprisingly effective.

imstilljenny2 · 31/05/2022 15:56

I have both the Bobbi Brown and the Glossier cream blushes and love them both. The Glossier is more of a mat stain which doesn't budge. The BB one is more sheer and glossy so gives the cheeks a lovely glow but doesn't stay on as long.
