Tell me about your leather biker jacket

My Topshop one is on its last legs. It's so old the pocket bag size was clearly designed for a Motorola Razer.

I've got up to £500 (ish) to spend and I want something that will last another fifteen to twenty years.

Needs to be a classic black biker.

Any suggestions?

Mint velvet - I have two lovely black biker style - an old favourite is my esprit one but that’s brown…..

I recently bought one in Hobbs. Beautiful soft leather and nice styling.

I would go in All Saints at least as a starting point and try on the different styles as they have various biker styles . I got mine from there and the leather is butter soft. The staff really know their stuff in there too as bikers are kind of their specialty

Got mine many years ago from Whistles, it's perfect.

Whistles or All Saints are known as being good quality leather for the ££

TK Maxx is definitely worth a look. i bought a fantastic DKNY one there. They often have them on the website.

Absolutely all saints.... I lusted over their jackets for years and DH eventually got me one for Xmas. You do need to up size though if you plan to zip it up.

I have this one. Gorgeous quality.

All Saints, hands down, I looked at a number of brands before I got mine last autumn. Good selection of styles and leather is such good quality. Sizing came up small btw.

A got a Biba one from House of Fraser a couple of years ago. It's beautifully soft and was in the sale. They have a slightly different one in their range currently and again in the sale.

I have three from All Saints (in my defence one was a £15 charity shop bargain). They are absolutely lovely and only get better with age. I have a Cargo which they still sell (the other two are discontinued) and it's honestly just perfect.

I got mine from Massimo Dutti seven years ago! It’s still gorgeous but I have been thinking it’s day will come soon…

The grandfather collar style suits me better (not sure if that’s still considered a biker jacket), I have a version of this in midnight blue, love it, sooo soft, I look forward to autumn and spring so I can wear it! I have a beautiful Whistles one from a few years ago. I feel like its best fit isn’t very current though, and earlier this year I got a fab oversized one from H&M which feels much more modern. It’s surprisingly lovely quality for being about 1/3 of the price of the Whistles.

I have the Allsaints Cargo and it's the nicest thing I own. Soft buttery leather, perfect style and fit.

I'd suggest looking at Reiss too. Though they are now part of Next I believe. I'm hoping they'll stay much the same.

Mine is Baukjen and lives on the bottom of the wardrobe in a bag. I'm trying to rough it up a bit and give the bag a squeeze every now and then. At the moment it's a waste of money. I can't bring myself to wear the pristine thing!

Mine is from Hush, navy soft leather love it. I’d also suggest looking at All Saints too.

I have a very classic All Saints biker which I love. Will probably last longer than me. They also have outlet stores which are worth checking
