Snag tights chub rub shorts?

I've chanced an order of some of these for summer, but I should probably have asked about other people's experience first.
They say they are the same material as the tights, but with extra… something (wicking?) to deal with comfort (sweating.)
There are millions of reviews, mostly talking about tights, but two enthusiastic chub shorts wearers on the first page.
No mention of a gusset on website or reviews, so do we wear knickers underneath?

I have some and they are fantastic.

They are similar material to the top section of tights. Very comfortable, no rub or sweat here.

Yes they are great.

They are like short tights so yes, meant to be worn with knickers.

Game changer for me. Maxi dresses are back on the agenda! I have three pairs that I wear on rotation in summer. They are lovely and cool too - I was worried it would be like wearing tights but it’s not. Wear them over your knickers.

They are epic. Wear your knickers under. I wore a pair all day at a wedding just yesterday, no rub at all.

I find them cooling in summer and warming in winter with a frock. They can be pulled up under your boobs, so no VPL etc either. Highly recommend them.

My issue is they make an annoying shwch shwch noise when I walk.

I wear them as modesty shorts when I'm dancing. Love them. Also love the Popsy ones.

They do have a cotton gusset but I wear knickers under, same as I do with tights. They're fab!

I found them uncomfortable. Cotton cycling shorts so much come comfy and a lot less sweaty

Are they the same as the Popsy ones? I have a pair of those but haven't really worn them much as my last few holidays have been cancelled.

@hedgehogger1 what's the issue for you? I stopped following them on Instagram last year when they posted some images I felt were massively inappropriate - male genitalia on parade in what was basically pure pornography.

Fat rolls, orange peel cellulite and disabled bodies are, however, very lovely to see in regular advertising.

@CornishPorsche no issues at all with showing fat women. I am one :) they just seemed to have a phase where it was all men in tights or borderline pornographic :) they seem to have toned that down a bit recently

I love mine. They mean I don't have to wear leggings under things which is obviously very warm in summer. Yes to knickers.

Nope, I don't with tights either. On once then in the wash. They dry quick enough.

I wore them all day for my wedding on Saturday. They were so comfortable and didn't slip down or roll at all - barely noticed I had them on!
I chose not to wear knickers but would do under a shorter dress!

I wear Jockey brand ones with knickers underneath. No swish noise when I walk.

I love mine. I've bought 5 new pairs as they sell out quite quickly. I like the builders tea colour , they don't show through any of my clothes

I really like them, wear knickers with them as I do with tights. My only compliant is I could do with a shorter version. I'm trying some capri ones to see if they look better with a shorter skirt.

I like my Snag tights well enough, although I think they're a bit shiny. I don't see that they fit any better than other brands, but they seem to be popular due to amazing sizing. I feel like I'm missing something as everyone raves about them!

I like them, insofar as they stop chafing, however I agree with the pp who mentioned the swoosh swoosh noise. I also dislike the seams that run up the front and back of them, which are really visible if you are wearing jersey type material dresses.
