Snag tights chub rub shorts?

I've chanced an order of some of these for summer, but I should probably have asked about other people's experience first.
They say they are the same material as the tights, but with extra… something (wicking?) to deal with comfort (sweating.)
There are millions of reviews, mostly talking about tights, but two enthusiastic chub shorts wearers on the first page.
No mention of a gusset on website or reviews, so do we wear knickers underneath?

I got these last year and they saved me. No noise or seams. Am a 14 and got the 12-16 size which is great and doesn't cause rolly-tummy or digging in anywhere.

I love them, huge improvement on the short legging (cycling short) types which I used to wear, they are so cool and comfortable. Much better than Sloggis too IMO.

Might need to order some. I love wearing dresses but always end up with sore legs

Had them on all day and only this thread reminded me as they are so comfortable, not noticed any noises or seam lines. I wear them like tights - with knickers on. Love them.

are they good for mini length dresses or more maxi / knee?

I’ve had some for the last couple of summers and they’ve lasted really well. I didn’t know you were supposed to wear knickers with them. I’ve been wearing them instead of knickers and not had any problems. Most chub rub knickers seem to be too tight around the thigh for me and too big at the waist (extreme pear shape) but Snag are a bit more forgiving of my body shape.

My Jocket ones are about equal distance between my crotch and my knee.

I am wearing a pair right now. They were something I didn’t think I needed, then I ordered a pair to try and I love them.

I have them and I like them but I also like primark cycling shorts and they are cheaper.

I've found cycling shorts get more sweaty and ride up compared to the chub rub shorts.

@lennybruceisnotafraid I've put those ones in my Amazon basket having read your post! Can I just ask... do the seams at the thighs indent the leg at all (as in creating a dip that can be seen if a dress clings)?

Not on me! But I don't have saddle bag or bigger thighs on the outside if you see what I mean, just a fat overhanging tummy so there are super stretchy on my legs.
