Best shapewear please?

I’m looking for one of those shapewear items that’s got shorts on the bottom half and then it goes up to just under your boobs with shoulder straps. Need to cinch myself in a bit for a dress that shows some bumps. Would preferably like to try one on in a shop rather than mail order but that’s probably not likely. Any recommendations please?! Skims are pretty good - not sure they do an underbust but certainly do shapewear that you could wear your own bra under. They also do some ultra high waisted shorts and pants that sit on the bra line.

As another more practical option, you might like to try a control slip.

It can be worn with or without your own bra (and knickers come to that) depending on the style of the dress.

They are comfy, and are far more practical when you go for a wee. In addition, if you get lucky it prevents a "Bridget moment" .

So I wear shapewear daily under everything. And I have many types, but mainly wear what you say, the "wear your own bra" type of things.

For firmness, this one from Next is the tightest and firmest, especially in the beigey colour. The lack isn't so firm at the front, dunno why.

But i have recently discovered this little beauty! From Amazon of all places. Utterly brilliant, comfy and it ABSOLUTELY DOESN'T ROLL DOWN! For reference, I am a 16 and bought the XL. Try this one, its brilliant (and cheap).
