The middle pic looks lovey

TheresALight · 22/04/2022 09:51

Lovely

SoupDragon · 22/04/2022 09:52

The middle one.

caringcarer · 22/04/2022 09:52

All lovely, but middle pic seems to fit like a hand in a glove. I would pick middle one

RubiesandRose · 22/04/2022 09:52

Love the middle one, the first is a bit too fussy and the last, plain but simple.

DameMargaretofChalfont · 22/04/2022 09:58

I prefer the middle one.

The first is a bit overpowering next to your engagement ring and the last one is too plain.

The middle one fits best, but I prefer the contrast of the plain band in the third pic.
Can you get a plain band of the same dimensions (including height) as the diamond one?

heartofgrass · 22/04/2022 10:02

See now, I like the first one. I imagine once it's sized properly it would look gorgeous. And how they sit together makes you wonder where the wedding ring begins and the engagement ring ends. Lovely.

The middle I'm not so keen on because of the difference in settings for the diamond bands, it's like wearing two slightly different shades of black IYSWIM ?? Just not quite right

Third is too plain for my taste

ImAvingOops · 22/04/2022 10:04

I'd go for a thin diamond eternity ring, the same diameter as your engagement ring band.

Thats why I like the middle one. I think it's obvious where the two rings are in the first.

I agree.

Middle

Derrymum123 · 22/04/2022 10:32

Middle one looks beautiful. All lovely but that one is just perfect.

ApolloandDaphne · 22/04/2022 10:44

The middle one is perfect.

KylieCharlene · 22/04/2022 10:50

I prefer no.3.
I like the simple elegance of it in contrast to the bling.

FelicityFlops · 22/04/2022 11:28

I prefer the 3rd one because I am traditional and think that a wedding ring should be a plain circle of metal as a symbol.
Diamonds on diamonds just looks like you don't actually have a wedding ring (a little bit OTT/vulgar) and are trying too hard.
In addition, wouldn't the other rings be highly impractical on a daily basis? I am sure I would be terrified of losing one of the stones.

BungleandGeorge · 22/04/2022 11:36

First one doesn’t fit well next to your ring. Second is too thick. Third is the best. But personally I’d get one made to match the width of your engagement band. I like stones On a wedding band so I’d match the stones and style to the band of your engagement ring

Lndnmummy · 22/04/2022 12:10

I am a sucker for a plain wedding band so third picture gets my vote. You could then add a thirs really thin eternity ring at the top.

Or, I'd get a wedding band with the exact match of diamond settings, width and height to the engagement band.

it looks beautiful on you! Congrats!

indecisi0n · 22/04/2022 13:16

I thought I’d go plain, but the jeweller said that a plain band would only go if paired with an engagement ring that also had a plain band and that the two clashed and should co-ordinate, her suggestion that she matched to my ring was the middle pic she said it’s a perfect match and that the double thickness made it stand out as a different ring whilst also seamlessly blending!

The first ring was my favourite as a stand alone ring but didn’t sit perfectly with the engagement.

The third I find a bit boring, but it’s more traditional.

Could you have one made to fit your ring? Mine are completely different but it's what I had to do so I didn't have a gap. It wasn't anymore expensive than buying off the shelf, actually it was cheaper than some

Which wedding ring?
BusySittingDown · 22/04/2022 13:32

2nd or 3rd.

1st one doesn't go. I think I'd go for the middle one. Congratulations!

MrsDamonSalvatore · 22/04/2022 18:14

Another vote for the middle one!

DramaAlpaca · 22/04/2022 18:17

Not the first one, it's too blingy.

The middle one goes best I think.

GroggyLegs · 22/04/2022 18:21

Can you try a plain band the same shape as the first one?

I have a blingy engagement ring & sometimes only wear my plain (shaped to fit) band for practical reasons.

If not, second one looks great.

TerribleCustomerCervix · 22/04/2022 19:19

This is what the jeweller said to me as well when I favoured a plain wedding band. I’m sure it was nothing to do with the fact a plain band was a fraction of the cost of the versions with stones…

I stuck with the plain one in the end and don’t regret it. I love the unbroken circle and what it represents. I might not always wear my engagement ring, which is a bit fussy for my tastes as they’ve changed, but the wedding ring is the one I wear 24/7. Through shitty nappy changes, gardening, cleaning, messing with the kids- I never have to worry about it losing a stone or a setting going a bit wonky.
