Decent knickers

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 17/04/2022 01:04

Hello all, please could you recommend decent knickers that actually fit over your bottom but aren't granny pants? Used to go to M&S but the quality got worse. Next don't fit that well. Thanks Smile

Innersey on Amazon

CoffeeBeansGalore · 17/04/2022 01:39

Asda cotton high leg briefs with lace trim. Multipack. Really soft lace. Look nice, feel nice, good value. Wash & dry fine. Comfortable.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 17/04/2022 02:01

I second the Asda high leg lace top ones
I also got another pack, almost identical from Matalan

Nat6999 · 17/04/2022 03:12

Sainsbury's TU boy shorts, very much like the M & S ones but much cheaper.

yorkshireteaspoonie · 17/04/2022 03:25

Innersy from Amazon. Best quality I've had in years

Enzbear · 17/04/2022 03:26

I love CK ones. I buy them from an outlet so they are cheaper. So comfortable and the band covers any muffin top spillage. I barely buy knickers from anywhere else now.

Fedupsotired · 17/04/2022 07:08

I came on to say Asda too! Got a very comfy pair on right now!

WinchGirl · 17/04/2022 07:23

Asda do have some nice knickers, I like the Dorina range.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 17/04/2022 08:07

Thank you all Smile

Cam on to recommend sainsburys but someone else did it already

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 17/04/2022 21:01

Thanks @ZenNudist

Responding with a little hesitation here as you have indicated that you are not keen on M&S.

But l still find the M&S Brazilians work for me. The (soft) lace instead of the hemmed leg elastic is really comfy and they come in a lovely choice of colours; I don’t do beige or white!

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 18/04/2022 14:34

Thanks @StarlightLady I used to like M&S but I found they sometimes were cut wrong and ripped easily. That was the packs of five. Maybe I'm better getting the single pairs and spending a bit more. I found the Brazilian ones felt like they were going up my bum Grin

Sainsbury's are my go to. My last pack of M&S ones were terrible. Put my thumbnail through the elastic far too easily.

StarlightLady · 18/04/2022 15:38

OP, re your comments. Try sizing up. It could make a huge difference. M&S offer discounts for multi buys, but you could try a single pair first.

Dickopf · 18/04/2022 15:42

I know you're not currently keen on M&S, OP, but their flexifit knickers are very good. Pricey but the best I've had in ages. The low cut modal seam-free shorts are also good. I am a size 8 but size up as I'm ridiculously fussy about comfort in my pants - I can't bear pressy waistbands or seams, and I loathe Brazilian knickers as they go straight up my bum.

StarlightLady · 18/04/2022 16:45

Nothing demonstrates more than this thread that what suits one, does not suit another. We are all different shapes, so it’s difficult to recommend to someone else.

With Brazilians, l don’t know l have them on. Others don’t get on with them.

British Boxers british-boxers.com/collections/high-leg-knickers and
british-boxers.com/collections/womens-hipster-briefs

M & S underwear IMO is the pants now (deliberate pun) and I want 100pc cotton. Bought these and also uk.sloggi.com/women/knickers-panties/hipster-mini/10207351.html?color=M019_Pink%20Light%20Combination

All much superior to M & S

Popsicle33 · 18/04/2022 17:22

I love the Primark full briefs. They're like Sloggi. They fit wonderfully, are so comfy and wash well. I love them.

SallyWD · 18/04/2022 17:28

I also love the Innersey knickers on Amazon. I got some several years ago and still as good as new. So comfortable too. I wouldn't buy any other knickers now.

SushiShopSearch · 18/04/2022 17:39

I also bought the Sloggi Go brief. uk.sloggi.com/women/knickers-panties/maxi-midi/10207340.html?color=M007_Blue%20-%20Light%20Combination

I really don't like their website, find it confusing and not customer friendly but their products are good.

I think you're right although I did size up in some next shorts and they still went up my bum 😂. You're right about everyone not being the same but it's good to know what people have tried

Fatface knickers are without a doubt the comfiest I’ve ever worn!

They look good. I used to wear sloggi years ago. Thanks
