1st of 3 weddings this summer. I'm late 50s, size 12 hourglass with massive arms so am drawn to the sleeves.....

Btw it's at a polo club, so I presume q dressy vine.

It's lovely but not quite right for a summer wedding.

Personally I wouldn't wear black to a wedding, I know people who have (one was the MIL to be) and others have assumed it was because they didn't approve of the couple getting wed!

If you're a size 12 and hourglass, why not make the most of it with a more fitted colourful bombshell style dress?

Depends on your budget and colouring obviously, but something like this is more wedding-y to me (as long as you go with coloured shoes/accessories and not white)

Having been to a wedding this month I can confirm that I can only remember 2 dresses out of over 50 that were worn (that wasn't the bride who was stunning). Wear what you feel comfortable in. That dress is very nice, I'm sure you will look gorgeous and no one will are anyway!!

It's lovely and not at all heavy as it has flowing movement.

I think the original dress is lovely but I'd replace the black ribbon belt-ey thing with a pale coloured one and go for nude shoes and pale accessories.

The first dress is really nice and perfect for a wedding with lighter accessories. The second one looks more like a throw over a swimsuit sort of thing.

Original choice is great - it is pale at the top so not too dark for a wedding. Go for it!

OP - get yourself some 3 kg dumbbells and do this 4-5 times a week. Turn off the sound if she annoys you, but it does work.

I think the first dress is beautiful and lovely for a spring or summer wedding because of the colors on the top of it. The second dress is pretty too and your arms are perfectly good. My favorite is the first dress only because I am not a fan of that shade of green, but, it looks great on you, you have a lovely figure.
