Chub rub thingies

Blush I have well cushioned thighs and the tendency to sweat a great deal as I am pretty active walking up hill and down Dale on t'school run. I have seen the horribly named chub rub snag tights thingies and wondered if these are the ugly answer to my sweaty inner thighs? I would love to be a cool chic woman wafting about the woods in my floaty summer dresses but fear I will look more like a sweaty tomato with a strange walk due to inner thigh sweat rash.

Sloggies and Jockey chafing shorts! Both available on Amazon and both good! Not sure how they’ll hold out on summer but not a bit sweaty for the moment.

AuntieStella · 08/04/2022 20:28

I don't know what shorts to recommend, but there's a product called BodyGlide that I think is marvellous.

Usually marketed for distance runners, it's fab against all foms of chafing

MarshmallowsOnToast · 08/04/2022 20:32

Jockey Skimmies!

They were a god send for me when holidaying in Orlando (a lot of walking & very hot/humid).

Got mine from Amazon

BeanAnTae · 08/04/2022 20:32

Snag tights do them too - shorts for under dresses

BeanAnTae · 08/04/2022 20:33

Sorry didn't realise you'd mentioned them!

Barleysugar85 · 08/04/2022 20:34

I have several pairs from Snag tights of their chub rub shorts. I like them! I do actually feel cooler with them on than without as my skin doesn't feel sweaty under them. They were pretty cheap too so not much to invest to give it a go x

Useranon1 · 08/04/2022 20:39

The snag tights ones are amazing!!!

Blueberrycreampie · 08/04/2022 20:40

A good thing about the Snag ones is they come in a range of colours that can complement the outfit!

Chocolatedigestives1842 · 08/04/2022 20:45

Yep snag ones are pretty good. I use them under all dresses.

Winnietherose · 08/04/2022 20:49

Snag chub rub shorts are brill and come in various colours for different skin tones.

ColdSeptember · 08/04/2022 20:52

The snag ones are really good. I've never found Body Glide or similar products to be up to much - I need a physical barrier.

Allthesefolks · 08/04/2022 20:57

I like the snag ones but prefer these as they feel a bit cooler:

I see M&S do them too these days.

I'd been wondering about these for ages. Then i had to make a trip to a hot country last summer in the middle of a heat wave. I was panicking over clothing as I was going to be out in it the whole time. I took 10 light cotton dresses and pairs of these chub rub things and they were a delight. Wish I'd bought them sooner! It took me 3 brands to get the right size and fit mind.

AnnaMagnani · 08/04/2022 21:02

Bodyglide is amazing. Plus one tube last practically forever.

AlternativelyWired · 08/04/2022 21:02

I'm going to order some of the jockey skimmies and will look at snag too.

Love my Snag ones! They’re cooling, lightweight and stay put.

HermioneWeasley · 08/04/2022 21:06

I don’t like the snag ones because they’re tights material and feel sweaty and hot. I like the sloggi cotton long leg ones and wear them under dresses and skirts in hot weather. I have them in nude.

BodgertheJogger · 08/04/2022 21:11

I use cotton cycling shorts under my skirts and dresses and sometimes by themselves. The fact that they are all cotton makes.me feel better.

IEatChocolateForBreakfast · 08/04/2022 21:13

Another vote for the Jockey Skimmies. I love these ones amzn.to/3DS8HFe

I've got them in a couple colours. They're great to wear under summer dresses, but also under shorter dresses on a night out. I never worry about my dress blowing up or sitting down and my skirt riding up a bit too much. They're fab!

Soontobe60 · 08/04/2022 21:14

I’ve tried a few different brands. My favourite re the m+S anti chafing ones. They keep me cool, dresses don’t cling to them and they don’t dig into my waist.

These come in nude, cream , black or red if you want something glam for under a frock. They look like stocking tops on.

BeaLola · 08/04/2022 21:28

I haven't tried them but in answer to a question on here a few years back a recommendation was to use roll on deodorant ... I know but I tried it & it works

big bloomers are the best.
PolaDeVeboise · 08/04/2022 21:34

The M&S ones are brilliant. Really cool, and non bulky.

inmyslippers · 08/04/2022 21:36

I just wear cycling shorts under clothes
