Chub rub thingies

Blush I have well cushioned thighs and the tendency to sweat a great deal as I am pretty active walking up hill and down Dale on t'school run. I have seen the horribly named chub rub snag tights thingies and wondered if these are the ugly answer to my sweaty inner thighs? I would love to be a cool chic woman wafting about the woods in my floaty summer dresses but fear I will look more like a sweaty tomato with a strange walk due to inner thigh sweat rash.

I really like the Chaffree ones, they are so soft and cool in the summer

I've got them, I can't wear dresses in the summer without them. Bloody vile looking things though. I also sort of wish they'd do a crotch less version as things can get a bit warm in the heat of summer!

Snags are amazing. 100% recommend.

I prefer the big bloomers ones to snag. Keen to check out some other recommendations on here though. OP they will change EVERYTHING about wearing skirts in the summer!

Do you wear pants under them?
I wish they did them in cotton, I also get very sweaty down there and I can't imagine the manmade fabric helps...

Lamacane[?] ointment is something I've found helps where clothing rubs.

Sloggi long leg ones are my favourites too because they are cotton (or at least, very high cotton content). I’ve also tried jockeys and big bloomers but found them sweaty because they’re man made fabrics.

I find cotton ones make the dress hang funny. My favourites are the M&S ones. I wear them all along in summer

@AuntieStella

I don't know what shorts to recommend, but there's a product called BodyGlide that I think is marvellous.

Usually marketed for distance runners, it's fab against all foms of chafing

Came to say Body Glide. It’s amazing. It actually really works. Also it’s in a pack that looks like a solid deodorant so it slips in your handbag easily.

Better Tights do them in colours and patterns. I don't mind the material and I usually hate man-made fibres.
They've really made a difference to me.
I wear them under dungarees because they've started to make dungarees to suit men who are 6 foot 6 tall as well as women, so they hang quite low in the crotch.

You do not have to make jokes about your legs.

Your legs take you for long walks over hills and dales. Show them respect.

I agree with PP: Snag chub rub are brilliant for UK weather, but the synthetic material is not good at higher temperatures.

The sloggi long ones are ideal for hotter temperatures, but they wear out more quickly than the snag ones.

Evans do nice ones!

@CinnamonJellyBeans thank you. My legs do an awesome job, ugly as they are. I walk around 50 miles a week according to my Fitbit. In a school week. Holidays less. I have chronic pain in various places too so I suppose I should be less harsh on myself.

Not the snag ones, horrid sweaty material. I have some silk ones bought on Amazon that are fab though, nude so they don't show, really cool and comfy. Dry quickly and very breathable. Kept me comfortable all day in Italy in summer.

Jockey skimmies. Smooth and cool. I have worn them in the Middle East in blazing hot temperatures and had no problem at all.

Big Bloomer ones I found that the waist was far too loose compared to the thigh part, and they fell down! Snag were just too cheap nylony and uncomfortable for hot weather.

@JesusMaryAndJosephAndTheWeeDon do you have a link or something I can search for on Amazon? Thank you

The ones I bought are no longer available. I will see if I can find similar.

The modal ones are pretty good too.
