Is this dress suitable for a wedding?

I know it’s white underneath but a floral pattern and unlikely to be mistaken for a bride! What do you think?

I think it's nice for a wedding. I wore a floral dress with a white background to a wedding last year and was worried after reading comments on here that it was too bridal but once I was there it was very obvious I wasn't the bride and there were many guests in similar patterns.

I’ve never seen a bride in a bright floral dress like that.

Depends on what the bride’s wearing. If she’s in a traditional gown, you’re fine in this. But, if she’s gone for a more boho look that’s a similar shape, it could be embarrassing.

I love this, love to wear something like that but I'm in turtle necks still as no doubt my kids would pull my boobs fully out for the world !!!

I like it a lot. In fact it's exactly what I'd choose if I were to marry again (which I won't) so that would be no from me as a guest.

@twinkletwixkle luckily I will be child free! They do have a mind of their own these days 😂 the brides are wearing a formal structured wedding dress if that makes sense, it won’t be a flowy boho one!

I’d say no, it would be fine if it was knee length but a (mostly) white maxi dress pushes it too far for me

I think it’s fine if the bride’s in something totally different, but bung on a brightly coloured wrap or shawl, to be on the safe side - you can take it off after the photos.

@Adeleskirts but it’s not bright floral though, the flowers are quite pale and wouldn’t stand out unless you were fairly close.

I wouldn't wear it because I think someone will judge and it would make me feel awkward. But for me, it's a yes. I don't think it looks like a wedding dress really and it's very pretty. I'd never judge someone in that, but I wouldn't wear it myself for fear of being judged 🙃

@MrsZzz yes definitely! I have some bright yellow or bright pink heels and a pink blazer to go over it !
