I know it’s white underneath but a floral pattern and unlikely to be mistaken for a bride! What do you think?
Summer wedding in nice hotel!

Accessorise using colours from the dress you'll be fine

JellyfishandShells · 07/04/2022 12:50

Beautiful summer dress and not in the least like a bridal dress - excellent choice !

FartNRoses · 07/04/2022 13:39

Yes don’t wear it OP! You’ll obviously be mistaken for the bride.Confused
Geez, peeps, there is nothing bridal about that dress!!
It’s lovely, OP and if I was the bride, I would have no issues with you wearing that dress!

thisplaceisweird · 07/04/2022 13:40

I think it's gorgeous and not bridal at all! Go for it, but do the bold/bright accessories like you say, just to make the colours pop and to move as far away from the white as possible.

maddy68 · 07/04/2022 13:46

I think that's a perfect dress. Not at all bridal

Fuckitydoodah · 07/04/2022 13:51

It's gorgeous. Perfect wedding attire imo.

OhSoStranger · 07/04/2022 14:08

It's beautiful 😍 and not bridal at all.

SirVixofVixHall · 07/04/2022 14:13

I think it is lovely and absolutely not too white. It looks like a floaty garden party dress , perfect for a wedding.

Forevergold2838 · 07/04/2022 14:15

I bought a very similar dress for my friend's wedding. It was beautiful and not bridal at all but I had the doubt at the back of my mind and ended up returning it. I just felt there's so many other style options out there-long and floaty should be left for the bride/bridesmaids and I thought if I had that small doubt someone else at the wedding might think the same.

sweepeep · 07/04/2022 14:15

Good lord it's NOTHING like a bridal dress!

Yes @Hell0G00dbye it's perfect 👍

RosesAndHellebores · 07/04/2022 14:17

It looks like something you would wear at a barbecue or for supper in the Med in the open air. I also think if it's a church wedding, it needs sleeves.

My DC are 23 and 27 and I think their friends would be more likely to wear a well cut jump suit if they didn't want to be traditional.

whenwillthemadnessend · 07/04/2022 14:29

It's a bit booby for me for a wedding.

JaneJeffer · 07/04/2022 14:42

It's more beachwear to me.

Milknosugarta · 07/04/2022 14:47

I like it a lot (so long as you are not too booby) where is it from?

JennySpanner · 07/04/2022 14:48

Absolutely fine

Madre123 · 07/04/2022 14:50

No

Echobelly · 07/04/2022 14:50

It's fine, I don't think anyone will think you're trying to upstage the bride. I think people are sometimes overcautious, I mean literally as long as it's not plain white/ivory it's not going to be a faux pas.

Hell0G00dbye · 07/04/2022 15:00

@Milknosugarta sadly I am not booby. Its Zara.
