Which of these Cartier watches do you like best?

Just as the title says! I've promised myself for a long time that I would invest in a luxury watch when I was able to and it comes down to these two Cartier watches, which I can decide between.

Which one would you choose? Rectangular face is the classic Tank Must and the circular face is the Balloon Bleu.

Tank! I have this and love it. Mine has gold on the bracelet too (Francaise). Bought from Ernest Jones and they gave me a good discount, so worth asking.

I agree with the pp who suggested trying them on if you are struggling to decide. That might clinch it for you. Ultimately they are both lovely watches and whichever you get I am sure you won't be disappointed.

If ever I won the lottery I'd get a Van Cleef & Arpels Pont des Amoureux watch.

I would get the Tank...it's a classic and won't ever go out of fashion. I have a round faced watch and love it but would definitely go for the Tank from your options.

Tank for sure. Round faces look weird on my weedy wrists.

The Tank. I have been promising myself one for years and nearly bought it a few times but boring things like house purchases got in the way. I’ll get it eventually!

I have a tank on a leather band which DP bought for me secondhand as he knew I'd always hankered for one. Wear it every day and love it!

I don't like the style tbh, but of the two I prefer the square one.

I have the Ballon bleu and still love it after many years. I think you need to try them on, as different shapes (and sizes) flatter different wrists. (I think curvier bodies look better with curvier shapes, or at least that's what I have found for me. I love emerald shaped diamonds for example, and square bags, but neither flatter me as much as rounded shapes).

I don't like either of them, sorry. They look like something from H Samuel in 1983. But if I had to choose, I hate the 2nd slightly less than the first.
