Wide fit shoes - where to get other than Clarks (and M&S)?

With middle age (and weight gain), my broad feet have become a bit wider.

So goodbye to my office Hobbs shoes - which had a reasonably wide fit - and hello Clarks (and M&S).

However, what other choices are there for me outside Clarks ( and M&S)?

Lands End do wide fit and half sizes, often have discount offers and are decent quality.

Peter Kaiser, Gabor have some wide fit shoes, Sargasso & Grey.
All good quality too.

New Look for non-fugly wide fit shoes. Quality's not great though

Thanks, all, for the ideas

My feet have got wider over time also. Agree that Fly London are good. Also Gabor.

Also Carl Skarpa are good for my feet though I've found that I am a size 6 in shoes I've recently bought from them , whereas I always used to be a 5.

Definitely worth trying on in a range of sizes. I've tried vionics and didn't get on with them at all.

Allbirds if you want the comfiest slip on shoes you’ve ever worn in your life. It’s like sliding into a cushiony cloud.

Bonabee · 08/05/2022 12:18

Yours Clothing and Simply Be both have a good range of styles.

New Look although I find them poor quality, Pavers although some are aimed at older people they also have some really nice ones. I also have a pair of Monsoon normal fit which fit me really well.

I have wide, painful arthritic feet. I only wear hotter shoes. They have 3 widths and last for years, they are so well made. They are starting to have much nicer styles these days and are very comfortable.

Gabor

Happy Little Soles website. They do free returns so less worry about getting the wrong sizes when ordering online.
They specialise in barefoot brands which are generally wider than any high street ones, but they have a range of styles and they'll advise on which have the depth to add insoles if you want.
