Nude tights

On the hunt for good nude tights (I’m white with pale skin)- can’t find anything that works, I want as natural a look as possible, whilst still having something on my skin. Where should I be looking?? Thanks!

I want to know this too please! Used to wear the John Lewis barely there ones but they seem to have changed them and they now go wrinkly on the ankles. Would love some suggestions.

Following- I always seem to have wrinkly ankles.

I don’t have the ankles problem, but I can’t seem to find ones that aren’t too shiny/too matt/too white…

I have an amazing pair that my mum bought me from a catalogue when I was about 11 (I’m in my thirties!) but the toes are just one giant hole so I’m now accepting defeat!

I’ve had a couple of pairs from Heist, beautifully barely there, also very expensive. Had a couple of pairs from Snag, longer lasting that the Heist ones, but less fine.

I’ve had a few pairs from snag. The nude colour I had a few years ago was perfect but sadly discontinued. I’ve just ordered the caramel colour & they’re a bit dark, you might need vanilla marshmallow.

I'm always looking for this too, as you say, but shiny, not weird colour. I have a few pairs from falke, they're OK, but I wouldn't by again.

Wow, yes £22 for one pair from Heist is a tad steep…

I get ads for Snag, maybe should try? Vanilla looks pale but caramel dark…

I wear the M&S Autograph 7 denier ‘cool comfort’ ones - they’re £6 a pair so it’s lucky that I only need them a few times a year.

I can’t remember the specific type but I usually end up with John Lewis. It think they are maybe 15 denier gloss.

I hate their advertisemwnt/branding but caved and got some from SnagTights, too - I'll admit they are comfy. Good colour range, too, but they got lots of little knots quite quickly for me (only the nude ones, strangely). That could be because of our Westie clawing up my leg, though!

M&S Illusion - not the cheapo ones though.

John Lewis barely there have been my godsend. I always buy up a size though as I find that they’re a bit on the small side and ripped a pair just getting them on because they’re so fine.

Falke - they are fantastic. Shelina, Natural Glow or Invisible Deluxe.

Hmm,Falke are also pretty pricey- £18 a pop??

I bought an M&S pair last year which weren’t right and also were really tight despite being the correct size!

The best ones for pale skin, or any colour skin , were Gerbe ethnic colours, but they are impossible to find now in all the colours.
Fogal do a similar range for all skin tones but I haven’t tried them (and they are v expensive.)
The palest Heist ones aren’t such a good colour , for me anyway.
Sadly for the most natural skin colours you do need to get more expensive tights. Wolford or Falke are both good but the colours not as good as the Gerbe ones.

Don't go for Snag - I love Snag but their nudes are definitely not "barely there".

I third Heist. Expensive but the best tights I've ever worn.

Goose yes I usually go for the £13 shelina ones, they last pretty well.

DIM works well for me. Falke are gorgeous but pricey.
