What to wear on weekend away in Scotland

We are going away in next weekend and as I have spent the last two years rugby tackling sheep I don't have any idea what to wear!

Saturday we will be in a town centre - so I ordered black/blue jeans, a white top and a coral blazer with white fairfax trainers? Is this ok?

Sunday is Mother's Day so a walk, Sunday lunch and possibly Segway thing. What do I wear for that?

If you have any links or ideas I would love to see them please.

I am 41, tanned, blonde, 5'3 and size 8/10

My usual attire is jeans and country boots and Barbour jacket as we live in deepest darkest countryside! I'm always cold - I love dresses but it won't be warm enough for that.

Thank you!!!

Ours won't start til first week of April - was helping a neighbour with one which came early!!

So this is a wee treat before my holidays are spent in waterproofs!!

@Mycatisfabulous

People from Scotland saying it’s warm though wont mean much to people from the south
🤣 I spent the first 22 years of my life in south east England, am well aware of temperatures.

Am fairly sure people who have lived in Scotland their whole lives have also been other places

The one year we decided to have our main summer holiday at the in-laws house in Sussex it pissed it down for 2 weeks solid. Sheltering from horizontal rain behind a solitary shed on the ridge of the South Downs was a particularly special moment. Never going near the place without 10 jumpers and full waterproofs ever again.

I just love everyone saying that the sun in Scotland is not like the sun elsewhereGrin. Rightly enough, it has been beautiful weather all week and set to be warm all weekend. The subtle, English bias is always around.

OP have a fabulous weekend, whatever you wear.
