I think the sleeve length is wrong, it makes your arms look really short and it hits at waist length on you.

If it wasn't for that, the rest of it looks good!

Imabouttoexplode · 12/03/2022 14:12

Looks lovely.

The top is loose and the sleeves are puffy. They end at the waist and the vertical pattern accentuates this, making you look like you have saggy boobs.

Around the hips is loose, adding inches, and the horizontal pattern at the tiers adds width.

It's too long.

You probably have a lovely figure but the dress does you no favours

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/03/2022 14:39

The sleeves are a funny length but I like the rest of it. Would look good with boots and a biker jacket.

KirstenBlest · 12/03/2022 14:46

A biker jacket would look really good over it, and it would hide the bits I mentioned.

The length might be just how it looks from the photo angle

TypicallyTopically · 12/03/2022 14:48

I'm taking it back tomorrow Blush

Is it Fatface? I bought a similar dress from there last summer and have worn it loads. It's not my most flattering outfit but it's comfortable and versatile - have worn it with trainers and denim jacket; on its own with sandals; heeled boots and a biker; flat boots and a biker.

PinkSyCo · 12/03/2022 14:53

I think it looks really nice on you!

FreyaMaya · 12/03/2022 14:56

Definitely agree with the biker jacket over it. I think it looks lovely OP

PollyPerkins87 · 12/03/2022 15:00

I think it looks lovely.

ParadiseLaundry · 12/03/2022 15:05

I'm surprised by the comments, I think this dress looks really lovely on you OP and I do think it's flattering.

Daenerys77 · 12/03/2022 15:05

I think it's too long, too baggy and the horizontal lines are in exactly the wrong places. Tiered skirts are not flattering to most of us. It would probably be comfortable to wear on a hot day though.

Iamthewombat · 12/03/2022 15:27

It looks very polyester. I can’t imagine swathing myself in a long polyester dress on a hot day. Sorry OP. It’s matronly.

Comedycook · 12/03/2022 15:29

No...I don't like the dress. Agree the sleeve length wrong and the detailing is a bit frumpy. You have a nice figure and are in proportion...you'd look much nicer in something else.

NotquitewhatImeant · 12/03/2022 15:30

I really like it!

KimikosNightmare · 12/03/2022 15:32

I like it. I wouldn't put a biker jacket over it. That's a bit of a cliche.

MNSVigilante · 12/03/2022 15:32

Personally, I don't like the dresss. But I don't think I would like it on anyone, rather than it not suiting you.

You look like you have a half decent figure, but you're hiding under a frumpy dress.

How can you tell what it's made from?Confused

I like it OP.

user1493494961 · 12/03/2022 15:33

No.

TizerorFizz · 12/03/2022 15:36

I don’t think it’s awful but it could be any dress from anywhere. It’s black with a small pattern. There are far better options. Even the dreaded M&S and Biden have better than this. Lovely up to date shirt dresses with belts. Think Kirsty Alsopp but a bit more demure.

RamsayBoltonsConscience · 12/03/2022 15:38

That's lovely! I am going to search that up as I like it so much, however, do you like it?

ParadiseLaundry · 12/03/2022 16:00

I agree.
